gingerfurball sorry to hear about your break. I agree it's not worth weighing with a cast on although it would be a big loss the week it came off:D.

ruby - you really do need to up your syns to at least 5 a day otherwise you're not really following the plan. With the weather as it is perhaps you could manage a lolly or some icecream for a few syns

Went to WI this morning and have finally managed to lose that lb I needed to get back into target:j. It's top end but at least I won't have to pay again.

We've had an update about the motorhome this morning and looking likely that we'll be able to fly back and continue our holiday next week:T.

    Today's plan:

B - strawberries, grapes after WI
    L - ham salad
D - chicken katsu curry/rice - recipe was posted on here a week or two ago; hope it's nice! Followed by melon, strawberries & grapes and quark. Mini meringue 1 syn

    HEA - milk
HEB - not decided yet but maybe a couple of the coconut macaroon hifi bars. Can't remember who asked about these but they are, I think, the best bars they've ever produced. Even DH has said he prefers them to Bounty!!!

    Syns - mini meringue 1; wine:D:

I'm 5' 2" and hit target at 8st 12lb (8 7 would be my dream but it's too much effort to reach it and maintain it, I'm not as young as I once was). I think my BMI is 22.7?

Thanks. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm 5ft 3 so think BMI is 23.5.

I've never used BMI as an indicator but the height/weight charts that come in the SW pack (or readily available online) put you both in the healthy weight range. The upper limit before you stray into 'overweight' is 10 stone so you're both doing fine.

ETA: Well done for getting back into target range denise. Now you can go back to France and start again!:rotfl:

I agree that it's better to be a target weight that you can easily (well, relatively easily) maintain with your usual lifestyle. What also guides me is the fact that I know my arms and neck would start to look scrawny if I went much lower.

No, no new thread MrsP. I expect Shala will start one for the next challenge. Amazing to think that it'll soon be September and autumn setting in. Any ideas on what to call the next challenge?

Thanks everyone for the feedback re target, still on par for a loss tonight so definitely calling it for a few weeks :)

Good idea to call target now lush. You can still lose what you can until your final dress fitting. When is that?
I have a fitting to check the alterations a week on Saturday (03rd Sep) and then I pick the dress up the day before the wedding so only very minor things really can be done after the 3rd.

Depending on tonight's result I should still manage my 1.5st award before the wedding :)

I was going to buy another countdown by my lovely consultant suggested waiting until I'm back from the honeymoon as the offer then should be a free Christmas themed book thingy :)

Weigh day today so keeping it reasonable:
breakfast: cup of tea (milk from hea) and a ham roll (heb, 1 syn for spread)
lunch: few prawns and some salad plus a cupshotz (free), lucozade zero (bit more than I'd usually eat but not masses
mid afternoon: 4 rolos (5syn) and 750ml water
tea (post group) will be leftovers from the fridge - lasagne :D

I've been to homebargains today and stocked up on bits for the other two (popcorn/biscuits etc) though still need a few bits and will be doing the main shop on Monday. planning plenty of fresh and frozen veg and fresh fruit (but not so much it spoils before we go away ;) ) Starting to get a drawer of the freezer filled with homecooked, healthy portioned meals which makes me happy! just need to get OH eating less chips again now!

I've planned in our meals out up to the day we go away; includes one at hungry horse next Wednesday as a rare date night. its a new branch opening near us but they are a standard menu so going to plan before I go - I always look forward to what I've chosen if I chose in advance and go prepared :)

    Lost 0.5lb this week.

    So that's 8.5lb now.

My mini target is to lose 10lb before my holiday on 19th Sept. Even just losing this each week, I will do it.

Hello - joined (or rejoined from years ago) SW on Monday. Just doing the online plan, but will be sticking to it just as much as if I went to a class. Looking to lose around 3 stone & keep it off, hopefully getting married next year so it'd be nice to see the back of these tight size 16's.

I'm happy to see that there are a lot more gluten free options now. I suspect that the higher fat & calorific gluten free foods might be a source of my weight gain though...that and finally getting a car last year (laziness has set in.)

Going well so far though - Had a bad day yesterday, but just treated myself to yogurt & fruit. I even managed lunch at a restaurant today! Had plain chicken with salad & a diet coke :) normally I'm the one slathering things in cheese & mayo & drinking pints of cider.

Now to attempt to get through the long weekend
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...

I agree Maman I got to 8st 12 in 2001 when I lost 4 stone and looked quite scrawny in the face and neck. That's why I thought I try and maintain a slightly heavier and more realistic weight this time. Hoping that this is 3rd time lucky for me having lost but not maintained before.
