Well done on your 3lb loss Candyapple!

And congrats on getting to target Debay, that's brilliant! :T

Gingerfurball that sounds so painful - take it easy please and get well soon. x

GREAT result from the bank Lantanna, well done for pursuing it. Thanks for the heads up about the Marks Peri Peri chicken, that sounds lovely.

Great loss Lush and a good idea to call target for a few weeks. You must be getting so excited about your wedding now.

Oh zuzuspetals I'd be upset and frustrated too. Just keep at it as the others have said and it WILL work for you. Definitely have a chat with your consultant and ask her to look over your food diary and give feedback.

A five pound fluctuation is a lot mcmanlyn! Maybe time to invest in some new home scales?

I weighed in early this week as we're going away tomorrow and I have lost 2.5lbs :D I think that puts me 0.5lb over my target for this challenge - phew! :rotfl:

Thanks. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm 5ft 3 so think BMI is 23.5.

    I`m 5ft 3 too. and yes BMI 23.5.

What a coincidence. Same height and weight. Well done on maintaining for a year too :T. Any tips as that's where I've struggled before?

    Hi lovelies

Sorry about the chart being littler this week, but when it gets to 9 weeks it has to be smaller to fit on the page. If you need to see it bigger then if you click on the chart, it takes you to the hosts website and where it's massive or just borrow these smiley-with-glasses20.gif:rotfl:

Welcome artdecogirl, mcmanlyn and zuzuspetals

Definitely post your menus up on here zuzuspetals, maman is pretty good at spotting any accidental mistakes ;) she's like our very own consultant! Do you think portion control may be an issue at all?

Weigh in for me didn't go too well this week, 1.5lb on :o the whole class only had 2 losses so I don't feel as bad :rotfl: I think holiday season has thrown lots of people off course. I'm ending the challenge with a 2.5lb loss overall..

Some brilliant losses on here though :T:T:T go team! jumping-14.gifand congratulations to debjay on getting to target :T:T Added you to the roll of honour.

GFB, hope you're ok *big hugs*

If I don't get on tomorrow then Beanie have a wonderful and joyous birthday and MatronMidge I have yours down for Sunday is that right/. If so, have a wonderful birthday too!!

Any ideas on what to call the next challenge?

Because i'm so unoriginal maman I was just going to use the same one as last year :D and it was a really good title that you came up with.. It'll finish on the 30th Oct so it's Halloween time again...

Talking of which i'll go sort a post out explaining the challenge.

    x

p.s. I've just realised my post is a little smiley-tastic.. I've found a new website so I've gone a bit overboard!

So, you didn't get to where you wanted to be by the end of the last challenge? No fear, here's a new one! :D You can do it this time!

p.s. Christmas is only 17 weeks away

If you are just joining us you may not be aware of the bi-monthly challenge that we run to motivate ourselves which you are welcome to join. It isn't a competition, just a way of setting ourselves mini targets if your total loss seems a bit overwhelming.

The new challenge will run from week commencing the 29th August and finish on the 30th October - this gives us 9 weeks.

If you wish to join in with us then please post your target loss for the 8 weeks in red* or bold or massive or all of the above so that I can see it really easily!

I will post the results chart each week on a Monday evening showing the prior weeks losses and singling out the person who has lost the most so we can make a great big fuss over them :T

Any questions please let me know - it doesn't matter which day you get weighed just let me know your loss on that day and i'll add it to the correct week (maybe, if I don't get confused!)

    Thanking you... :D

Please continue to report your losses for the challenge that's still running. I'll be posting the final chart on Monday after work :D

yay new challenge :) I've only got 3 weigh ins in this challenge where I'll be actively trying to drop weight (come back from honeymoon on 7th October so first proper weigh in will be 13th Oct!) so I'm going to keep that in mind and go for 3lb please shala :)

My actual personal aim is to lose 1st 10lb from weigh I am at today by 22nd Dec which gives me 11 weigh ins once I'm back so I need to average just a little over 2lb a week. It's going to take some hard work and dedication but hopefully I can manage it!

I normally aim for 1lb a week, but I have a trip away during the next challenge, so I'll go for 8lb for Autumn please Shala
  • Halloween is my birthday :) I'll still food optimise as well as I can (not sure when I'll be weighing in so will put down a STS each week until I get my cast off so I'll go for 10 lbs off for the Haloween challenge

(I got better drugs off my doctor...still not had a change of clothes - bar underwear!! And my hair is a disaster!! But family have rallied round which has been so needed cos we're self employed - regardless of how I feel I have to go back to work next Tuesday as everyone else has commitments...so will lie low as much as possible between here and then)
