Morning everyone, hope you're all ok. Been really busy at work recently (well for the past year or so actually!) so haven't had much time for anything really. But I have stuck to plan.

Feeling really bloated the last few days though - it's not star week yet so no idea really. Just trying to keep chugging the peppermint tea and water and hope it helps.

    Menu today -

    B - 2 kiwi, 2 clemetines, FF yogurt
L - LO Kedgeree, salad (tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper)
D - Pesto Pasta (1 syn), LO Roast Chicken, mozzarella (HEA), spinach, broccoli
    S - 2 benefit light bars (HEB)

Think I need to up my syns but I can't seem to fit any more food in!
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000

  • Morning all - not the best last couple of days at chez furball...typing this one handed as I fell two nights ago and have a big break on my elbow....the worst pain.

We went to casualty Tuesday night and a very bored and overworked nurse triaged me as grade 4...so basically he thought there was nowt wrong with me.We sat for 4 hours until I couldn't take it anymore and got hubby to take me home.

My sister took me in yesterday morning as I couldn't take the pain - sympathetic nursing staff this rushed me through. There was talk of pinning it but thankfully not. Poor DH had to go to (as we're self employed) but I've got my DD here to look after me.

So clearly I'm going to rock the next challenge!! I think I'll just report STSs until I get this cast off...but I am at the mercy of others cooking for me for the meantime. I'll get my sister or oldest DD to go get me plenty of fruit and yogurts to snack on cos they are SW savvy. It never rains but it pours!!

Oh do feel for you, hugs and hope pain eases off soon.

Can I please have -1 for the chart please shala. Think I've just made my target and might call this as my overall target. Was 12st 9 and now 9st 7. Am I right in thinking if my target is 9st 7 it allows me +/- 3lb so could be 9st 4 to 9st 10?
Well done to SOTW and everyone else who is still losing over the summer. Thanks to Shaka as always for keeping us on track.

Congrattulations on reaching your target, great feeling isn't it? yes you are right is plus or minus 3lb. Snap by the way that's my target weight too. Achieved it a year ago

Sorry to hear that Gingerfurball, hope you feel better soon! Your right there is always something!

Happy to say I got my £ back from the Halifax, way more than the £400 I was anticipating them offering. Got back fees & charges plus 8 % so £1349.80.

That's my buffer for the winter sorted, Christmas presents, some for savings and some treats for me!

Being good again today, getting back into it, just had some melon for breakfast and got myself a new fancy salad Tupperware container in Tx Maxx last weekend (shaped like the old subway salad bowl) so have a nice salad with that in with me today.

Off tomorrow just because I felt like it lol so will hit the gym then.

Starting back at class next thurs - 1st Sept and then 3 full months to nail this before xmas.

You may as well remove me from the chart Shala and I will join you all again in the next challenge. Not weighing til I restart next thurs.

Oh anyone tried the new macroon bars??

Making SW Tikka Masala with Cauli Rice for tea - told you I'm getting back into it lol ;)

Watch this space I say..........target I'm coming to get you
  • Thanks for the new Thread Shala. Love the new title!
Having said that, this thread is my group. Loads of support, tips and advice here. Thank you
Can I please have -1lb for the chart shala. Thank you so much for the chart as it's a good motivator. Well done to the losers and SOTW.

Ouch!! So sorry to hear about your accident gfb. I agree there's no point weighing with a cast on but if you stay on plan as best you can then you could have a lovely surprise when it comes off.:)

:T well done on getting to target debjay. Welcome to the plate balancing act that is being a target member.:D

Good idea to call target now lush. You can still lose what you can until your final dress fitting. When is that?

I've noticed MrsR that you're getting a few different meals into your menu. Are you and OH managing to cook differently as I remember you had problems before.

I had a few wine syns yesterday evening which weren't really planned. It was such a warm evening that I just fancied it.:o

I had thought of going to WI this morning but as she's moved the time half an hour earlier and stopped the mid morning group I wasn't organised in time. I might do weigh and go at another local group this evening. I think I'm still in target range although feeling a bit fat today so probably gained a bit and evening WI won't help.:( Good luck for anyone else weighing today.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably JP with veggie chilli and cottage cheese
D: corned beef hash ( onion, pepper, carrots, mushrooms, tomato) with something green
Syns: squirt of HP sauce and syns in corned beef and horseradish.

I think I'll definitely go to WI as I think we're out for lunch tomorrow and just agreed with a friend to go to the exhibition of the Queen's wardrobe next Tuesday so that'll be more synning.:D

Thanks. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm 5ft 3 so think BMI is 23.5.

I'm 5' 2" and hit target at 8st 12lb (8 7 would be my dream but it's too much effort to reach it and maintain it, I'm not as young as I once was). I think my BMI is 22.7?
