    Hello fellow SW'ers,

Back from my hollibobs, and ate and drank most of the Costas. The result of which is a gain of 5.5lbs as of this mornings weigh in. Trying to get back on it, and should be fine until the latter part of the week as I'm away again.

Have not read the thread over the last few weeks, I hope you're all doing well, and managing to stay on plan. Hope to catch up with you all over the next few days.
    Take care

Thanks maman, I definitely couldn't manage on a lettuce life and need "chunkier" veg.

How's this for a sad tale? I made a batch of carrot and coriander soup for lunch only I dropped the pan and lost the lot - all over the kitchen floor (and up the walls and over the radiator and in my shoes...) I may have said "oh dear me". So I had a quick rethink and had an omelette with red peppers and onion and a big side salad. Hoping that's still Speedy?!

Sorry but had to laugh reminded me of when I dropped a large jar of pickled beetroot, looked like an axe murderer had run riot in my kitchen and I had to redecorate. Did you really say "oh dear me" lol I turned the air over Telford blue and shocked all the sailors in Plymouth. To say nothing of the time I syphoned off a bottle of my lovely homemade wine and discovered when I wobbled back for a refill that I had not turned the syphon off and what should have been another 5 bottles worth had cleaned the kitchen floor http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/speechless-smiley-040.gif

  • I'd love to join please! 10 years ago (in my 30's) I was a size 6/8, always been slim all my life, now I'm middle aged and a size 14 and want to lose maybe 2 or three stone, Will be happy to drop a generous dress size and be a small 12, don't want to be skinny skinny as I'm 46 and worry it might age me (I look quite young for my age ATM! All that plump smooth skin :rotfl:).

Last year I low carbed for a while and lost a stone quite quickly but I looked no different and didn't drop a dress size, maybe half a size! It isn't working the same for me now...

Then I tried fasting on 5:2 but was putting anything I lost straight back on, so really going to get stuck in to SW!

    Evening all,

Well done Mrsp, you must be soooo chuffed with yourself :j

3 lbs off for me this week - very unexpected, I really don't deserve it!

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather - it does make it easier to eat salad but I am missing ice cream I have to admit :o
