mirry - no problem with reheating your chilli but make sure it's heated through.

    Today's plan:

B - porridge made with water; pineapple chunks
    L - ham salad
D - chicken traybake with potatoes, peppers, onions, courgette, aubergine

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - not sure yet but may involve a couple of squares of dark chocolate (1 syn per square).

We have our Woman of the Year tomorrow so need to make a taster. Am going to make the cumin scented falafel to use up another tin of the chickpeas in the cupboard (DH has a problem with eating them!)

    Morning all

Put on +1/2 lb last night. Quite pleased with that as I thought I had put on a lot more. Am following the plan 100% this week as I had pledged to myself that I would lose a stone before the end of my countdown and I have 3 weeks to go and 8.5 lbs to lose.

    Today's meals are:
Breakfast: Toast (HeB) with Peanut butter (2 syns), DG Coffee (2 syns)
lunch: Couscous with tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, spring onion and feta cheese (heA)
dinner: Cauliflower pizza, with ham, mushrooms, peppers and cheese (6 syns)
    snacks: melon

    syns: 10 Bank: 95

Congrats to all the losers this week so far :T

Well done on the weight loss orlao & all the other losers :D

Lois Lane, I like the idea of the 7 speed food challenge....so do I just pick Seven speed foods a day and eat them with each meal?

Pretty much - the idea is to have at least 7 portions of speed food across the day. TBH, if you're doing Extra Easy properly that should be easy to achieve as a 1/3rd of your food should be speed. When I was completing a food diary for class I kept running out of space for speed.

    Lunch.
Jacket potato, salad and left over chilli con carne from last night....
I'm a bit worried if it's safe to eat as I took the mince out of the freezer yesterday morning, cooked it last night for dinner so now I will be heating it again :o.

That should be fine as long as you make sure the chilli is piping hot before serving it. I eat leftovers all the time and I know lots of others here do too. You'll see the abbreviation 'LO' appear on people's meal plans and that's what it means.

Morning everyone! Hugs to all those that are feeling under the weather.

Actually went to the gym last night and feel good for it this morning. Think it's HIIT tonight which I'm definitely not looking forward to but hey once it's done it's done (till tomorrow night at least).

B - FF yogurt, benefit light bar (1/2 HEB), 2 clementines
L - Salad (rocket, onion, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, HEA of Feta), banana
D - Sticky pork (2 syns - pork, peppers, onion, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, 5 spice), egg fried rice
S - benefit light bar (1/2 HEB), hot chocolate (2 syns)

Looking forward to dinner tonight as it's a new recipe. Loved last night's aubergine and feta stack so might make that again tomorrow as well.

Hope you're all having a good day.

Thanks Lois lane for that info, I'm terrible with understanding abbreviations. But yes it's a LO lunch for me today, yum!

A thought crossed my mind today, as my daughter is off to uni next month and my son left home in April I will have empty nest syndrome :(

On a positive note, there will be no chocolate, sweets or rubbish in the house anymore & my husband is on board with this idea :T

There's nothing worse being surrounded with temptation and watching the family eat things I can't (well quantities I can't) so it's going to make it easier for me.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

    Afternoon all;

    switched it up today -
breakfast: mocha wheat bran 'mug cake' only it was so much it wasn't a mug it was a whole bowl and took ages to eat - 1/2 heb plus 2 syn. recipe from instagram but happy to share my adapted version :) it was so filling I ate half then sliced the other half and ate it whilst driving to work! could easily scale it up (and I presume bake rather than microwave it, or microwave in a silicon mould I guess...if they are microwave safe!) and make it a whole heb!
lunch: SW sweetcorn chowder. I was only going to have one cup (half the pot) but I liked it so much I've polished the lot off!
mid afternoon - 25+ mile drive back to the other office so I have a hi fi light (second half of heb) in the car should it be needed) and a mulerlight for when I'm back. Have had a mini curly wurly (3.5) and two crispbakes (3) with laughing cow extra light (part hea)
    tea: not a clue yet.

definitely making the wheat bran cake again though as its the first day I've not felt snacky in ages!

I have to take something for the class buffet on Saturday - any ideas gratefully received! My class is first thing in the morning so something I could make on Friday night would be good.

I had the sweet and sour SW meal last night - it was okay, not disgusting but not brilliant either.

    My menu today:
Breakfast: Weetabix and milk (HEA & HEB)
Lunch: Chicken with sweet chilli (1 syn) soy sauce and ginger served with roasted red pepper and red onion
Dinner: SW burgers with 50/50 sandwich thins (need to check the syns on this!) and salad
Snacks: Grapes, carrot and cucumber sticks

mirry, I think another idea of the 7 Speed challenge is to have variety. Aldi is an excellent place to stock up starting with the Super 6! I always buy some Frylight there when it's on offer as its £2.20 ish most other places.

Delicious meal with my friends yesterday and alcohol syns were consumed but back on plan today. I've got the veggie chilli on in the SC and veg all prepped for dinner while I was at it.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB (half) toast with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bacon and mushrooms
L: just starting to feel hungry so small JP with cottage cheese and pickles
D: sausage, mash, carrots, fried onions, runner beans, broccoli and peas
Syns: squirt of HP, gravy, 2 syns for BGTY sausages
