Woman of the Year in my group has lost 8.5 stone in 1 year and 4 months. Only had one STS in that time.
A bloke in my group went on holiday last month, gained 12lb in the holiday - never followed the plan, don't blame him as he didn't have a holiday for 14 years. He lost 15lb in a week. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Good evening all
I'm back from the land of Guinness and leprechauns ☘and with a small gainon my home scales I've gained 2lbs which I'm working on getting shot of before WI on Monday. I swore I would be good and my resolve went hugely out the window :rotfl:started off with Eggs Benedict in Frankie and Benny's in the departure lounge, then the TGI Friday's that evening- although to be fair that was just pasta with a tomato sauce and a chicken breast baked in garlic so I'm fairly sure that would have been damn near free but unfortunately the cocktails (well mocktails- I'm teetotal) wouldn't have been :rotfl: Then there was the real Irish butter on soda bread at breakfast... The multitude of full fat soft drinks...the bangers and mash in the pub on the second day... You get the idea :rotfl: I did do quite a lot of walking so it could have been a lot worse- however I've come home with a corking blister just under my big toe which has been mega painful for two days- all I can say is thank goodness for the fact within 5 minutes hobble of the hotel there were three pharmacies, one of who cheerfully sold me some Compeed. Did the trick! Pain suddenly eased earlier which I'm glad off- it was hellishly painful! Wish I could say the same for my whiplash though- shoulders are still killing me
Today's menu- bit of a blip at lunchtime. OH had to take the car to be serviced so we went to Aldi for lunch- no small bottles of anything other than juice which cost me 6 blinking syns! I reined it in though and managed to keep on track and ended the day on a decent amount of syns.
B: HEXB 2 x HiFi bars, water
L: Chicken and mango salad (1 syn) Sushi (2.5 syns) Apple Juice (6 syns) Mango chunks (Free)
T: 5% fat mince, Passata with garlic, Worcester sauce, carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn. Apple. Light and free yoghurt. Water.
S: Scrambled eggs with pepper, gherkins, ham, chicken chunks, fish sticks.
3 X cups of decaff tea over the day and milk in scrambled eggs.
Syns: 9.5
Steps: 6469, not as many as I have been doing but many of those were hobbling and leaving heavier on my crutches than usual!
Hope everyone's ok, congrats Beanie on your nomination xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Good morning all. A bit late dropping by but thank you shala for the chart and yay for SOTW! Unfortunately not so great for me this week, with a 2lb gain. Not a surprise really as I went quite off track for a couple of days. On Wednesday evening before weighing I just sort of snapped and ate everything in side, including quite a lot of "treat size" chocolate bars. Have drawn a line though and hoping for a better week this week. Normally have a slightly more relaxed approach at weekends but going to try and stay quite strict this weekend I think.
Hope everyone has a great weekend0 -
Sounds like you enjoyed your holiday Mrs R. A 2lb gain isn't too bad for a holiday gain. You'll soon get it off.
Sorry you didn't get Woman of the Year Beanie but it's great to be nominated.
Having a Green day today:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - tuna salad (50g tuna 3 syns)
D - cauliflower cheese (1 syn for cornflour)
HEA1 - milk in teas throughout the day
HEA2 - milk for cheese sauce
HEB1 - bread
HEB2 - cheese for sauce
Syns - tuna 3; cornflour 1; wine 14 = 18 syns
A bit over on syns but easy to rein back during the week.

Just a 2lbs gain after a holiday in Ireland is excellent MrsR. I'm sure you'll soon see it off.
Great news about your DH's job tie but not so good about your eye pressure. It bothers me that we're in the middle of the school holidays and you're worrying about that taxi pick up. It's no wonder you're stressed.:A
I do hope your holiday resumes ASAP denise. It's worth trying to get back as low as you can whether you can go to WI or not.
Next Thursday is my WI and also the 5th anniversary of getting to target. That's the good bit. The bad bit is that I've a fairly synful day planned, it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow, a hog roast on Sunday and we're out for lunch (at a friend's so her choice of food) on Tuesday. I know I could change today's menu, make a 'good' meal at home tomorrow, just eat meat at the hog roast (probably will as I loathe burger buns) and pick at stuff on Tuesday but I don't want to.:D I think I'll just be angelic in between and hope for the best.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably JP with cottage cheese and picklesbaked haddock, new potatoes, cauli and broccoli cheese
Syns: scrape of spread, cheese/milk for sauce, weekend wine? I think I'll forego any ideas of chocolate:o.
P.S. DH seems to have forgotten it's our anniversary tomorrow. We generally go out for the day but he seems to think the first match of the season will suffice as no other celebrations mentioned.0 -
My night out with the girls has ruined this week. I can feel it. I must've used at least the full weeks amount on alcohol.
I'm hoping my saving grace will be the fact I wouldn't stop dancing! Got straight back on plan yesterday albeit whilst hungover. No nights out for a few months I think!
Hope everyone else is having a good week!

Afternoon lovelies.
Busy day at work yesterday but just about on plan
Today, I've been out walking with Top Boy and Top Dog for 2 hours.
Come in and made a breakfast of fat free bacon, syn free sausages, egg, mushrooms, 2 hash browns (3), tomatoes, beans and HEXB toast.
Saving HEXA for the itsu chicken katsu curry I'm making later on. Seems fairly low syn and I love chicken katsu so we'll see
Hope everyone is having a lovely Friday.
Have a fabulous anniversary Maman and you're quite right, a few days off won't kill you and you'll soon be back at target if you do gain!0
