I'm glad you had a good time rj, we all need a break.:) I'd try and eat (and drink;)) as low syn as you can for the rest of the week. It's not too difficult with a bit of planning (says she that seems to spend her life reining back:o).

It's a fabulous day here too wiz, really hot and sunny. I hope it is where you are lois, just want your guests need.

Amazing what you can eat with SW topgirl. That fry up sounds amazing.:)

I've got a couple of questions, food related if not about the plan:

I find if I store strawberries in the fridge in their punnets, they always seem to taint the milk (in a jug). How do you store strawberries?

I'm getting DH round to eating salmon as oily fish is good for us. His main moan is that it's too bland. So far, he'll eat the chilli sauce and ginger infused fillets and the lightly smoked. I tried them from Sainsbury's YS and they were OK but really meant to be eaten cold. I tried Aldi and the taste of ginger was overpowering the fish. Does anyone make their own marinades for salmon?

    TIA:)
  • Hi everyone

Bit of a write off yesterday. I had a weird dizzy spell around 3pm after feeling rubbish all day, so ended up napping in the afternoon/evening hence I didn't feel like cooking. Asked OH to pop out and get something for us to eat and he came back with a chippy tea. And it made me feel so much better, so I'm not feeling the normal guilt that I usually would.

So having yesterday's planned stuffed peppers for tea tonight.

Today has been a green day:

B - puffed wheat with milk and banana
L - BNS soup with ryvita and laughing cow light
T - stuffed peppers with rice and veg

I've munched on at least 15 syns of extra cereal today  so hopefully that'll be it syn-wise today. Might give SP a go tomorrow to see if I can do some damage limitation

Maman - I'm planning sticking to plan this week but will make sure I have the full 105 this week as I never seem to lose if I don't and I only had about 80 or so last week. I also had a couple of SP days and quite a few SP meals.

We've had an update on the motorhome and it's now looking like the engine won't be in until the end of the month so will be sticking to plan for that time and hopefully getting nearer to bottom end before we actually go back to France.

Re the strawberries tainting the milk I don't have that problem but I leave it in the container! Have you tried covering the jug with cling film, that might help. Are you storing it in a jug because you've measured your HEA (better than me if you do!)? If so, have you tried a 250ml bottle to store it in?

Thanks denise .Sorry to hear the motorhome isn't ready. No, I don't measure milk. I haven't done since the first couple of weeks. I just know I'm under on days I don't have cereal/porage so I just let it balance out. I resolved that if I had a problem it was something I could tighten up on. The milk's just the jug we use for drinks but why didn't I think of covering the jug rather than the strawberries! Thank you!
Strange how SP doesn't work for you. I've never had more than an odd meal. I always have 105 unless I'm ill!

Thanks beanie I'm playing a bit of a game waiting until he remembers! (childish really). I'll be happy with a drink and a meal after football but it'll be interesting to see if he realises. :)

Great news on the job TIE, but hope you get to the hospital soon to get your eyes checked x

Happy Anniversary Maman! Both target and wedding :D

Off to a wedding tomorrow, was supposed to lose 2 stone for it but only got to 1 stone 2, never mind.. better than not having lost anything at all. Won't be on plan but that's ok.
