MrsP what is this free ice cream you speak of? If summer ever comes back, that would be great for weekends!
My mum got me an ice cream maker for my birthday last week so I made some ice cream using 2 muller yogurts, fat free fromage frais and sweetener making it free. It's very tasty but I used too much mix for the bowl - I didn't know it would increase in volume. Aeration I believe so it hadn't fully churned and set so after I put it in the freezer for storage it's got loads of ice crystals in it. still tastes nice but it's more frozen granita than ice cream.
Will try again in a few days but half the recipe and see how that goes0 -
I love melon

Hi there.
Hope everyone is well and having a good week so far.
My walking partner (Mr Abbafan1972) wasn't up to a walk tonight so I went by myself. I had Pick of the pops for company on my phone, which was good because I was listening to 1981 and couldn't resist doing a little dance whilst waiting at the pedestrian crossing!
Oh dear about the SW sweet and sour meal - I have one of these in the freezer that I bought at the weekend. Will have to see what I think of it.

According to the Express this morning, there's a heatwave on the way, so get that ice cream in the freezer!fozziebeartoo wrote: »Off on next cruise soon.
See you in a few weeks!
Ooh, lucky you, where are you going? Have a lovely time.Just ate half a melon (Super 6 at @ldi I think) with more of my free ice cream and 15g of choc shot. Can't believe how chocolatey it is and so little syns!! Anyway it's reminded me that I quite like melon and it's easy to prepare so hopefully I'll eat more of it! Really want to lose these last 2lbs!
I love melon too and I've got a melon baller that I use to prepare it the night before for breakfast with frozen berries and greek yogurt. I wish I had an Aldi nearby.rjhammond91 wrote: »Just been to weigh in. Was nervous because I'd been on 2 dates this week.. Both including nandos!
But I managed to lose 6lbs! Gutted I couldn't stay for the image therapy cause I reckon I would've got slimmer of the week!
Never mind. I'm still dancing on the inside!!
Brilliant, well done! Just wondering if there was some Body Magic involved on the date(s).
Have a good day everyone.

Only got up at 10
thank God it's summer holidays. Top Bloke was on an early today, he left at 6:45 and I had every intention of having 'five minutes' then getting up to potter about.
Ah well.
B/D - Bacon and mushroom sandwich and a cup of tea
T - Sausages, some kind of potatoes and loads of vegetables. Going to try this runner bean thing I saw on FB.
HEXA - Milk
HEXB - Bread
Syns - not sure yet. Maybe a laughing cow cheese triangle in place of butter on the sandwich and a biscuit or an options later.
BM - General pottering. Clearing Top Boy's room out for replastering this afternoon so that should burn off a few calories.
Decided to count today as my first fully on plan day and WI next Wednesday morning. Still nervous, but, I've enjoyed my holiday. Just need to get back to it now...0
