Well done wiz, that's 1lb gone and just 13 to go!:T You definitely do best when you're on Green and try to have as much fruit and veg as possible. This week might be hard (if the chippy tea catches up:() but go for it!!
I do admire your resolve sticking to the alcohol free plan through the school holidays lois. When I didn't feel like wine syns last month it was amazing how far the syns went for the odd treat and to vary the menu.
I hope you feel better and have a better day today rj. The odd day of not eating much might be OK but longer term your body might go into starvation mode and hang on to fat.:)
I've had my SW breakfast (HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk and strawberries) but we're out to lunch today. It's in a pub so unless I really fancy something else on the menu I'll probably go for a roast. I just looked at the menu and I notice they do wild bore sausages! Hopefully the cooking's better than the spelling!:rotfl:
Back on plan tomorrow:).0 -
LL - the rhubarb fool was really nice. Will definitely be doing it again as the rhubarb is growing like a triffid!
Wiz - well done of the lb loss, as beanie always says "keep plodding" and you'll get that stone you want soon
Maman - I burst out laughing reading about the wild bore sausages - spelling obviously not a strong point at the pub.
Have actually done some body magic the last couple of days - last night we went for a walk along the sea front to the next town which is about a mile each way - left it until about 5pm when it had cooled down a bit and then came back and DH BBQ'd the burgers & some peppers; onions were done in the pan as no room on the BBQ.
This morning we drove to Brogdale at Faversham and walked around some of the National Fruit Collection. When you do the tour you get to pick some fruit so have extra fruit this week in the form of greengages & plums - the only fruit which was edible at the moment. We also picked a couple of cooking apples to make apple sauce to go with the roast pork this evening. We also sampled lots of different varieties of cherries, raspberries & strawberries. We also had a few red currants & white currants but I always find these a bit bitter but DH liked them.
So today's plan is:
B - SW fry up
L - corned beef & salad sandwich (HEB + 3)
D - roast pork, roasted veg (onions, peppers & carrots); cabbage, peas. Apple sauce, splash of gravy (1 syn)
HEA will be milk as usual
Syns as above. Probably have a glass or two of red this evening.

Horrible bingey day yesterday due to a bad day at work  but it hasn't done too much damage on the scales as I had a sneaky peek this morning so hopefully that'll motivate me to have a good few days before WI
Well done more losers this week :T
Today's food:
B - overnight oats with nectarine & banana, detox tea & cuppa
L - macaroni cheese with leeks & salad
T - Quorn sausages, mash & cabbage
Syns: sausages either 2 or 3 depending on how many I have, maybe some SF jelly later will see how I feel
Doing lots of green days at the moment as we're giving veg the heave-ho until our hols (OH's idea) but still eating fish so pescatarian diet I guess you could call it - not that I eat fish apart from cod cakes and tunawhether it'll help with the weight loss who knows. I thought I'd go crazy not being able to eat bacon or chicken but it's not gone too badly. It's made the weekly shop a lot cheaper so I'm happy with that.
Have a great Sunday everyone

Hello everyone,
I've had the same breakfast again as I feel that's ok. 1 and a half banana weetabix with handful of berries and coconut almond milk. I've had my main meal at lunch time cos it suited family and work commitments better. Suited me better too cos I'm full and not going to snack. Anyway we had homemade paprika wedges with frozen slimming world burger with a side salad with just a little dribble of balsamic vinegar. I did have a cheese slice be good to yourself and a whole meal bread cake. Smallest I could buy. Been looking at other breakfasts too. I doubt I will want much else to eat but I've a Milky Way, muller light and melon and orange as well as some left over salad to pick at. Anyway gonna have half an hour in garden.0 -
Candyapple - there's no reason you can't have chicken or bacon on a Green day, you just have to limit the amount. If you haven't got a Green book post on here and I'll have a look how much.
Sunnystar - noticed you said you had a dribble of balsamic vinegar on your salad - no need to limit it as all vinegars are Free! I love balsamic on my salad; would rather have that than mayo to be honest.
No idea what bread cakes are so comment on that but as it was wholemeal 60g would be HEB, anything more than that would be syns (1 syn for every 10g).
Depending on how much milk you had the cheese slice could be part HEA otherwise syns. Cheese slices vary in syns depending on brand.
Hope that helps.

Hope everyone is ok.
Lost 1lb at group yesterday, so I'm just 2lb away from my 6st award.
Our group is moving to a different venue as of next week, it's only round the corner though and a much nicer room, according to the consultant. It's a church, so at least I can say a prayer before I get on the scales lol!
Just been for the 2nd walk today - am aiming for at least 15,000 steps per day!
It's really warm here and am sweating!
Have a good week all. xStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
B - HEB OSS Multigrain. How dare Quaker discontinue these? Still got 2 or 3 boxes left and it will be a very sad day when I use my final sachet with HEA skimmed milk. Apples
L - Ham salad
D - Smoked salmon salad with a pasta salad. Syns 1.5 for light mayo 1.5 for olives 9 for rose wine.
Does anyone know of an alternative HEB to OSS Mulitigrain or any instant oats which are HEB? I have tried making porridge with normal oats and I can't get the texture right. I don't eat them every day - every 10 days in the summer, half that in the winter. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
