What a horror story MrsR. Do let us know how you're feeling today. Well done for managing to stay on plan throughout.:T

Thanks for the heads up on the Primark jeans. 'Relaxed fit skinny' I'll remember that. I like skinny jeans but they need to be comfy too.

Sounds like the DIY is at least making you well toned even if it's only a small weightloss tie.:)

Great determination wiz. How much more would you really like to lose before you'd be happy to maintain?:)

Good to see you're organised for your busy day sunny. Your breakfast and lunch sound well on plan. Juggling the different milks to make a HEA sounds complicated but if you like the almond one I suppose it helps as you can have more. Not sure of size of Milky Way but you seem well within syns for the day so far. Is the jerk chicken a SW recipe?

I didn't have any weekend wine syns last night to compensate for my night at the pub on Thursday. Pleased with that, should help me maintain.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: LO chicken casserole (chicken free;))
D: roast lamb, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, carrots
Syns: squirt of syrup, HM gravy, wine syns

We're out for lunch tomorrow (another off plan meal probably) so I'm making roast today.

1 stone then I would be happy Maman
    :)

Well done on your losses MrsR, beanie, lush and Emmylou.:T

lois is right emmy, if you're sticking to plan then you'll get a loss it just doesn't always happen over one week (right lantanna?;))

:hello:Welcome sunnystar. As denise said, you need to do SW all through the day to get proper results. There's nothing wrong with having an extra Weetabix if you really want one but, to me, that's a waste of syns. Have you looked at the SW 7 day menu plan (or at people's menus on here) for ideas for lunches, breakfasts and snacks?

If you have time I'd suggest a good breakfast particularly things like eggs and beans. You can either have Speed veg with them like mushrooms or tomatoes or snack on Speed fruit through the morning. What about a bowl of berries and FF yogurt? or a chopped up apple covered in cottage cheese? It's probably psychological but I find eating something with a spoon more satisfying than just snacking on fruit. Another idea is to make a frittata or mini quiches and snack on those. For lunch I'd have a jacket potato but make sure you have plenty of salad or pickles on the side. To me planning and Speed food are the two keys to SW. Good luck and do ask as many questions as you like. We're a friendly lot on here.:)

wiz, how are your potato scallops made? When I was a child they used to be deep fried in batter!

I had steak, salad and chips last night so not too bad. It was a decent salad too not just a garnish. It was the wine syns that mounted up:o. I'm going to try not to have any today to make up for it but it won't be easy being Friday. I need to do my meal plan and shop today. Lunch is undecided as it'll be soup from the freezer unless I shop first when I'll have more choices.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk for teas
    L: tbc
D: chicken casserole (carrots, onions, leeks, celery, mushrooms and courgettes) with new potatoes and broccoli
Syns: scrape of spread, tbsp. (shared) of cornflour in casserole, hopefully 3 syns of chocolate with a mug of tea instead of wine syns.

Maman we called those with batter on Dabs, and if you put two together and put a bit of fish in between we called them Fish cakes or you could put corned beef between and called them John Bulls. They had to be deep fried though. Not allowed now.
But going back to the first there is no batter and you just put a Litt oil or spray in the fry pan and spray the potato, then fry it i e. Scallops. Yummy.

    Morning all

Never managed to get near the thread yesterday, we were really busy again. Then by the time I had time to get online, the forum wouldn't let me in! DH and I are keeping to our alcohol free pledge but I could have murdered a glass of wine last night - only another 4 weeks to go...

MrsRyan - sorry to hear about the accident, I hope you're not sore for long. Well done for resisting the temptation to comfort eat.

Denise - I love the sound of your rhubarb fool, I might give that a go soon.

    Have a good day everyone.
