Maman - I did cook it with sweetner but after mixing with the quark it definitely needed some more. Perhaps I should have used a bit more when I was cooking it! DH also added extra sweetner when I'd dished it up so obviously still not sweet enough for him.

As one of my consultants said. You have a vase of 21 flowers, each one representing a meal in a week. If one dies, do you throw out the others? No.

Evening all
What a couple of days I've had! Utterly nightmarish. Just after I posted on here last night, the bus I was on crashed into the back of a car. I ended up in A&E with whiplashand today I've been to a (totally unrelated and pre-arranged) hospital appointment and I need hearing aids
All of this could have sent me spiralling off track, but I've managed to steady myself. Last night when I got back from hospital OH made me a toasted ham sandwich, which would have had syns but I didn't really care at that point! I've been really good today though- my appointment wasn't until 3pm so I was able to have lunch before I left which kept me full until now.
Today's meals:
B: HEXB 2 x HiFi Light, banana, cup of tea
L: SW ready meal- chicken chow mein, peas, sweetcorn, green beans, spinach. Can of NAS cream soda
Snack: Mini cucumbers, crab sticks, bottle of Becks Blue (2)
T: Steamed sea bass, mashed potato, carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn. 2 easy peelers. Pint of NAS Vimto with ice
Supper: Can of orange San Pellegrino (7.5) bag of Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5)
Syns: 13
Steps: 5575
In other news, I have accidentally found the most comfy jeans ever. Because of my tummy issues, I have problems finding jeans that don't hurt which is why I usually live in leggings. I have been wearing Dorothy Perkins Bailey Super Skinny in a bigger size than I need but even they have started to dig in. I've bought a pair of jeans in the sale from Primark and they were relaxed fit skinny- oh my life they're amazing! They're very soft but look fab and are so comfy! And they're only a size 20 (a Primark size 20 at that- not the most generous of sizing there :rotfl:) which is a definite bonus! I also bagged myself a family sized George Forman grill in Lidl today for £14! I think I'm going to give it to OH for Xmas- he'll love that

Thanks Beanie and Scarlet. I will keep plodding. I really can't afford to slip up at all I just don't make any headway. Pound off STS pound on. This has been going on for almost 4 years. However, I will keep going if it takes me 20 years. One consolation is that I am not getting any bigger. The only thing that's bigger is my tum. That is like I am nine months pregnant and it really gets me down. Nuff, moaning, this is what I will eat today.
Breakfast.. Bran flakes A/B Strawb' Blueb' raspberries.
Lunch.mushroom soup. 2 clementines.
Dinner. Chicken B mixed veg pear.
Extra 2 Ryvita 3 Syns extra fruit.0 -
WI with .4lb loss really not happy with that (couldn't even manage a full half pound
) been so good . Have been using my kettlebell but only working arms at moment so hardly anything really. I know I don't have much to lose but this is so disappointing
The only good thing I've noticed is my midriff is flatter (most of the time)
Oh well will keep plodding
Mrs r, what a day for you!! I hope you're not in too much pain, whiplash is a bi*ch. Wonder what Will come of the accident i.e bus company! Wish my hubby would get his hearing checked, have to repeat myself over and over  he's in denial though
Better not tell my boy about the George foreman as he bought his dad a small one for a lot more than that
Ok back to painting the bathroom then on to the kitchen!
Have a good weekend all :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all its a lovely sunny day.
Breakfast has been 1.5 banana weetabix with a handful of mixed berries (frozen I remembered to get stick some in fridge) then I measured out 200ml of coconut and almond milk (that flavour was on offer)
Just one cup of coffee with sweetner and splash of semi skimmed
Then I've had a bottle of pink zero lucozade and a banana mid morning.
Lunch will be remainder of yesterday's soup and a muller light.
Dinners bubbling away in slow cooker. It's Caribbean jerk stew thingy, not tried it before but I'm taking my daughter to airport later so saves faffing. I've got melon and oranges in when I'm peckish and a small Milky Way if I need a treat. I've also been on the scales and jotted my weight down to see if they move in the right direction. I've been for my hours walk, I'm in a good routine with that.0 -
What a horror story MrsR. Do let us know how you're feeling today. Well done for managing to stay on plan throughout.:T
Thanks for the heads up on the Primark jeans. 'Relaxed fit skinny' I'll remember that. I like skinny jeans but they need to be comfy too.
Sounds like the DIY is at least making you well toned even if it's only a small weightloss tie.:)
Great determination wiz. How much more would you really like to lose before you'd be happy to maintain?:)
Good to see you're organised for your busy day sunny. Your breakfast and lunch sound well on plan. Juggling the different milks to make a HEA sounds complicated but if you like the almond one I suppose it helps as you can have more. Not sure of size of Milky Way but you seem well within syns for the day so far. Is the jerk chicken a SW recipe?
I didn't have any weekend wine syns last night to compensate for my night at the pub on Thursday. Pleased with that, should help me maintain.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: LO chicken casserole (chicken free;))roast lamb, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, carrots
Syns: squirt of syrup, HM gravy, wine syns
We're out for lunch tomorrow (another off plan meal probably) so I'm making roast today.0 -
My SP day yesterday ended up as a normal EE day as by dinner I'd still only had 1 HEA and 1 HEB so decided to add SW chips and forego the extra HEB. Wine syns consumed during the evening but still within plan. I've kept syns under 15 both Thursday and Friday. Tonight will be different!
B - mushroom & bacon omelette
L - tuna & cucumber sandwich (HEB)
D - 2 burgers from butchers (1 syn); WM burger bun (not sure of syns but suspect about 10 - will check later). Will also be having onions, lettuce & tomato in the 1st burger. 2nd burger will be without a bun and will have with more onions & grilled peppers
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - burger bun 10? (now checked and it's worse - 12 syns) burgers 2; weekend wine
