Beanie, daughter has a Samsung phone and app came with it – it’s called S Health.

I use this app; not to its full potential but the steps/active time tracker is very useful as long as you carry your phone around with you (still works even in a bag/pocket etc.

I don't seem to have much appetite at the moment which is very strange for me. final syns for tea last night was 6 so took me right up to my 15.

    Today:
breakfast: melon and strawberries which I have grazed on since 8.30 in between working/emails etc
    mid morning: peppermint tea
lunch: I have brought in: 2 dutch crispbreads (I love these!) which are only 1.5syn each. on them I'm going to put 1 extra light laughing cow triangle on each (from my hea - you can have 6 for a hea but I can't manage that much so I will split it in to milk and the cheese) with some very fine cucumber slices and a few cocktail prawns. following that up with some fat free rhubarb and vanilla yogurt (free from asda)
mid afternoon: 2 chocolate fingers (3syn)
tea: not 100% sure as yet but I think I will have an omelette (ham and mushroom, no cheese) and some salad bits whilst I give the others either chicken or fish with chips.

heb: not sure - may save it for evening snacking and have a hi fi/2 hi fi light
hea: 3 extra light laughing cow (will have the third in my omelette) and 125ml milk which I'll have over 3 cuppas tonight (either 3 tea or 2 tea and a 2syn hot choc)
will end on 10 syn or less - determined to :)

Morning - well only just, this is the first chance I've had to look at the thread so far today. The sun is out again and everyone's going out for the day so we haven't stopped since we opened. (Rubs hands together Arkwright style. :rotfl: )

My sister and brother are both diabetics and they've been doing this. It sounds great but it's low carb so although you can have butter, you can't spread it thickly on a slice of toast. The theory behind it is that we've all been hoodwinked into thinking that fat is the enemy when it's actually processed carbohydrates like sugar and flour, particularly when they're combined with fat.

Ooh, thanks for the reminder. I'm going to have an Asda delivery next week and I love these.

Well done Maisie, what a great loss. :T

    Have a good day everyone.

I remember a friend having a diet sheet from the GP years ago because she had to lose weight for health reasons. Butter was on it but because she couldn't have bread or crackers she hadn't anything to put it on?? New potatoes maybe?

lush, when I was getting to target those Pagen Krisprolls were a HEB. I remember taking them on holiday to have at breakfast instead of white bread. They were so hard that they took a while to eat so it did the trick. I think the Dutch ones must be like thick Melba toast.

Glad you had a good day in London MrsR. I'm planning a trip soon as there's an offer on with tickets.:money: Did you take food with you? It's not easy to stay on plan when you're out for the day.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese and pickles (beetroot, cornichons and pickled cabbage to use up).
D: BGTY burger (1), SW chips, fried onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, courgettes
Syns: scrape of spread, squirt of HP sauce, perhaps 3 syns of chocolate

I probably have about half a tbsp. of sauce or spread so maybe 1.5/2 syns max in total.

    Hi maman
I didn't take anything with me- there was just loads of good choices I could make. The salad I bought in WH Smith- it was a tuna Nicoise but I didn't have the dressing and I picked out the olives which just left plain tuna, hard boiled egg and salad leaves, cucumber and tomatoes. They also had fresh fruit on offer so I picked an apple and clementine. On the way back I went to M&S in the station and just has two of their plain fruit pots and a pack of ham- admittedly I didn't check the syns in the salad until I was sat on the train but I thought it couldn't have been too bad with what was in it. Definitely a better option than some of the stuff in the shops- and as I had it as my evening meal I didn't mind the syns too much. The salad I had at lunch filled me up for most of the day, I had a bottle of sparkling water which also helped- I didn't really get hungry until my train home about 6 ish which was when I nipped to Marks and Sparks in the station.

that's the ones. I love them and find them more satisfying than a sandwich/similar :) although they do leave lots of crumbs haha

Birthday went well yesterday. Had a slice of cake at work, and then a slice of my little cake at home. The rest of the day was pretty much all on plan I believe - Heck sausages, rice salad, marinated chicken and lamb. So, yes over on syns but probably about 25 syns in total I think.
Today back on plan because there is no cake left in the house. Little bit sad about that but it's probably a good thing actually.

Also, here is a photo of my new tattoo for you all to have a look at

What some fabulous losses, well done!!

    :j

And "just keep swimming" to all us others.

I won a local competition!! Guess what???

An ice-cream party for 6 at the local carvery!!

Hardly SW friendly, but very tasty!

    :D

    Day 23

B - baked oats (heb) raspberries. Cooked last night and I had it cold, could only eat 1/2. It seemed more filling cold, rather than hot.

L - HM quiche (ham, onion, peppers, mushrooms). Vegetable rice. Light mayo, served up a tablespoon but just used a small bit. 2 syns??? Nectarine.

T - trying to make a SW crispy chilli beef. OH is at work so I ran amuck with the spiralizer!! Red onions, carrots, courgettes, broccoli and baby sweetcorn. Might do plain boiled rice or noodles to go with it. Depends how much the veggies shrink when I stir fry them.

8 Syns will be a frozen mousse and hi-fi bar if needed this evening.
