Beanie, I’m in the same boat as you. Despite being responsible for today’s menu for our guests, I have pigged out – although I did not have any of the chocolate fudge pudding. And, no, I wasn’t an angel; I just hate it. I made it too and I didn’t even lick the spoon. Yuck! Everyone else seemed to enjoy it. Not looking forward to WI tomorrow now. DD has an app on her phone that does it all. Not sure what it’s called – I’ll try to find out.
Well done, Julie, tweets and wiz.
Thanks for more cornetto info, Lois. Isn’t it odd that things we’re not that fond of can become quite appetising just because they have reasonable syns! Or is that just me?Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Evening all
Well, I've survived another crazy day but managed to resist the pasties tonight - I regretted the one I had yesterday, it had a bad effect on my digestive system. Fatty foods have never agreed with me but since starting SW the affects are worse. Tea tonight was ham, hard boiled egg and salad. Syns today were for 3 BGTY sausages and some gravy for dinner. Still no wine Syns, DH and I have decided we're not having any alcohol until the kids go back to school.
Hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed some sunshine. It was lovely here but the forecast isn't great for tomorrow - wind and rain - I feel sorry for the campers.
Have a good week, good luck to everyone for your weigh-ins.

Morning all and happy August! Today looks like this:
B - Boiled eggs
D - Chilli, lentil and chickpea soup
T - Chicken with carrot and beetroot salad
My friend recommended grated beetroot as a salad, though I'm apprehensive about the mess it'll makeWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
So pleased you found the ring in your bag Greentiger.
My mum lost hers a few years ago and she said it was like a death.
Foodwise weekend was ok, def not as bad as other weekends gone!
Have Bolognese in the fridge for dinner tonight.
Hoping to lose at least a lb this week, anything more is a bonus!0 -
Morning all
Peace reigns - so far! It's 9.15, I wonder what time it will be when I get to post this....:rotfl:
Happy to report that I got away with the pasty and lost 1lb.greentiger wrote: »Isn’t it odd that things we’re not that fond of can become quite appetising just because they have reasonable syns! Or is that just me?
I find that with free food too - I bought Mug Shots when I first started doing SW just because they're free, but I don't actually like anything like that. If Pot Noodles were free I wouldn't eat them, so Mug Shots are no different really.
Well done Abbafan, Juliejimjam, Wizkid, Tweets and anyone else I've missed who has lost this week. Good luck to everyone still to weigh.
Bye for now,
LL

:T well done on your loss lois. Interesting that the pasty disagreed with you. I've found that I can only take just so much synful food these days. I felt positively sick after the cake I had on Thursday.
I was going to say that the same isn't true of wine but since I cut back to mainly weekends for SW I find my tolerance has dropped. If you did give up wine for the summer season it would be so much easier for you to accommodate any 's*d it' meals if you're really busy and tired. I probably saved hundreds of syns last month when I wasn't drinking as I carried on eating almost syn free as usual.
I think you've done ever so well to put on such a small holiday gain so far denise. You'll probably lose that (and maybe more) before you get back for Part 2.
Good to hear you sounding brighter today lantanna and no SW disasters over the weekend.
We're having our main meal mid-afternoon today so I'll allow for a snack later if needed.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L/D: salmon, SW chips, runner beans and mushrooms (need using up).
Snacks: vegetable soup or cold ham and pickles
Syns: squirt of HP sauce0
