Could you just get a normal pedometer Beanie? (just saw the one Orlao posted, that looks good for the price) And being on a "diet" is pants that's why we sabotage ourselves.. as lovely as SW is, it still doesn't taste as good as chocolate/pizza/chips* when you're having a rubbish day!!;) but keep going, we'll all get there in the end!
*delete as appropriate
Had a really bad night sleep here (PMT too so want to eat everything in the cupboards ) so i'm chilling watching the Bourne films.. could really have a nanny nap to be honest but I won't sleep tonight if I do!

Good to see you getting a loss wiz, and you too julie.:T
Meant to say that Galia melons are on offer in Aldi this week. Not very big but I'm sure they'll taste good.
/QUOTE]
Thank you for this Maman, I was going to buy melons in Asda as I want to make a batch of fruit salad for the freezer. They are £1 in Asda so when I read your post decided to go to Aldi instead and was really pleased I did The size compared very favourably with those in Asda, need keeping to ripen up a bit but I find that's usually the case anyway. I also bought the baby potatoes at 49p 89p at Asda and although not in the super 6 Peaches, nectarines and plums were 49p too so am now stocked up ready to make my fruit salad at half what it was going to cost.
The potatoes are excellent really tasty.Slimming World at target0 -

I used to work at @sda and I did find that when items like melons were on offer the size reduced significantly.
Went out for a 4 mile run earlier on. Yikes it was hard work and the reason? Forgot to have lunch beforehand! Was literally running on empty. Silly girl.
So I'm now shattered and it's my turn to cook. The idea of ordering Chinese appeals but it's weigh in tomorrow and I'd rather get my 2lb (hopefully) weight loss than not have to cook tonight so cooking I shall do.
Only 2 more days in work until I'm off for 12 days. Cannot wait!0 -
LL - yes it's going to be very expensive but not the end of our holiday - just an interruption. We'll be going back to France once the engine has been fitted and will continue our holiday. Should have about another 5 or 6 weeks until our tunnel back is due.
Jumped on the scales this morning and looking like I'm only about 1.5lb over target so hoping I can shift that before WI on Thursday - if I decide to go!

Hi all
didn't get a chance to post yesterday but my meals went well so that was good.
Today's plan was:
Breakfast: eggy bread (HeB) with mushrooms, DG coffee x 2 (4 syns)
lunch: Apple pie and coffee (I know but it was delish)
Dinner: Baked potato, prawn (2 syns for mayo and ketchup) with a huge side salad for speed (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers and spring onions yum)
Snack: Strawberries and raspberries
not sure how many syns in the apple pie but we did walk about 5 miles today so that should hopefully help counteract them!!
Denise glad you will be able to resume your holiday once the motorhome is repaired.0 -
MrsR~~7000 steps is just fab.
I dont manage many at all..
Does anyone know of a cheap alternative to a fitbit by any chance?
Thanks.
I've seen Groupon adverts for similar on Facebook, at a quarter of the price.
I've resisted trying them - it would only tell me what I already know, that I don't get enough exercise or sleep. :rotfl:
