Thanks LL but unfortunately the motorhome needs a new engine. After 3 nights in the hotel the breakdown have flown us home for a few weeks until the motorhome has been fixed - not going to be cheap (understatement of the year!).

Got back late last night and only stopped for some milk, bread & butter. Have been shopping this morning but hadn't made a meal plan so that's to do later this afternoon. The only planned things so far as beef stew tonight and roast chicken dinner tomorrow.

Trying to stick to plan as much as I can but had to have white bread this morning as that was what we bought. Have got WM now so will have that.

Definitely having some wine syns this evening - feel I need them.

 Hello denise So sorry to hear about the motorhome but you've got excellent breakdown cover so not all bad.

I'm sure you'll soon undo a bit of the holiday gain. But not tonight, you need those wine syns.
Good to have you back. :)

So happy to hear your ring came back to you Greentiger! :D

Well done and good luck to weekend weighers.

Yesterday was my toughest day so far. If it didn't move out of my way, I wanted to eat it! :rotfl:

    Day 19

    B - nectarine

L - mushroom, spring onion and bacon omelette. Strawberries and raspberries.

T - use it up day! Pork in a made up Chinese type sauce (2 syns), udon noodles (not dry ones, got by mistake so 3 syns), stir fry veg cabbage, onion, broccoli, mushrooms. Left over SW egg fried rice.

Got a rolo mousse (or is it desert?) in freezer. Need to make sure it IS the 4.5 syn one before I eat it!

Just lost my previous post.. in a mood now.. please just assume I was lovely to everyone and answered any questions that have been asked;).. I can't remember any of it now as I type my replies as i'm reading all the older posts!:(

TIE - I have that book, found it really interesting and brilliant at explaining what sugar and carbs do to your body. Glad the doctors have took it on board, it's great to have found a "cure" for the diabetes as it were.. hope you can both stick to it, it's tough but I lost 6lb in the first week I did it, then I stopped :rotfl:

Sorry your hols have been disrupted Denise  enjoy the wine syns, fingers crossed the weather stays nice so you don't feel you're missing out being back home!

    Menu for today
Brunch - SW mcdonalds mcmuffin - sausage pattie (2.5) wholemeal thin (heb) cheese (0.5hea) egg
    Snacks - 1/2 melon, hifi (3)
tea - hula pork, coconut rice, corn, salad - 6 syns in all I think
body magic - staining garden furniture!! :p

OH is out tonight so i'm trying a recipe out that I think i'll like (but he definitely won't) the syns are in the pineapple juice and nuts and the rest I've managed to convert to SW i.e. oil > spray oil, coconut > coconut essence, ketchup > tom puree

Hope everyone's having a great weekend xx

You’re doing well, Emmylou, BettyBoof and TIE.

OOOOH! Just 7 ½ syns for a cornetto! Very tempting – even although I’m not that fond of them, lol!

Hope you’ve survived changeover day, Lois. Enjoy your treats.

Come on, beanie, you’ve got that target in your sights!

    Commiserations about your motorhome, Denise.

Had a MUCH better day today.

Breakfast: hexb roll, bacon, tom sauce (1)
Lunch: hm veg soup (at last it’s finished!), Light & Free yogurt
Dinner: cod, sweet potato, peas, leeks & beetroot, nectarine & plum
Snack: hexa cheese & tomato on 2 cream crackers (4)

We will have visitors tomorrow, plus grandchildren, so there will be a lot of temptation, but I am in control of the offerings so …… watch this space!
