It must be a bad day for teeth, one of mine has started to hurt when I chew. Typical that it happens shortly before a holiday when I don't want to be spending extra money.

    Day 16

B - oats pancakes, syrup (2), strawberries and raspberries

L - lots more syns used than usual but never mind, one slice of Hovis (5), teasp lower Lurpak (1.5), lovely thick and lean ham and packet of Wotsits (4.5).....just because!! :p and the hugest nectarine ever!

T - will be SW spag bol Florentine with wholewheat pasta. Lots of speed in it, carrots, mushrooms, onions, red pepper, yellow pepper, tomatoes, spinach.

So 2 syns available for a HI-fi bar if needed. DH wont be back from work till 10.30pm and my tricky time is when I am on my own in the evening.

But plenty of free and speedy fruit in the house.

Back to post my EE menu for today:

B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold chicken, bubble & squeak, beetroot and pickled cabbage
D: Spaghetti Bolognese (full of veg and I'll add extra mushrooms I want to use up)
Syns: probably a few syns of 70% chocolate

DH has said we're going out for the day tomorrow so we're likely to eat out. I've plenty of syns saved so can go off plan if I fancy. I'll let you know.:)

Hope all the tooth problems are resolved soon.:)

Another £50 at the dentist to find out I do indeed have dry socket, no wonder I'm in agony. It's going to be slow healing now, really fed up.

Fozziebeartoo, I hope your tooths OK and nothing expensive :D

Made a huge pan of leek and pot soup and just had some but I could only taste the medical pack in my gum, yuk.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

    That looks fine rj.

I know you explained that you work shifts. Do you get a break at work where you could eat a meal? I read somewhere that irregular eating patterns can be a problem for weightloss.

Glad you sorted out what's wrong with your tooth mirry even if it cost you.:)

Yeah I work 12 hour shifts. 2 days and 2 nights. I think I'll struggle more on nights than anything. I'm a dispatcher so take breaks as and when but tend to eat at my desk. I eat ok when I'm on days. I have breakfast about 6am before I leave for work. Have a lunch time snack of fruit. Lunch around 2/3ish and then dinner about half 7 when I'm home. Losing weight will be a struggle but I'm determined to do it!
