    Congrats on being SOTW, Betty.

    Brilliant losses, fozzie and rj.

Lovely chart as always, shala. Thank you.

gingerfurball, I’m still in weight gained state rather than weight off for this challenge, but it will keep me focused. Sending hugs re your son moving away. We had several years of ours yo-yoing between here and the States. He spent 7 months of every year working as a football coach, then he’d be back for the other 5 months doing the same here. It was awful every time he went away.

    Tattoo free household here too.

I’m the same shape as you, Lois, and find I need belts on my breeks. I would love to wear fitted blouses, but they tend to ride up at the back because of my bum. That said, I was just thinking that. Although I’ve been a bit stuck weight wise, I have lost an awful lot of my rear shelf iyswim, lol.

Had a change of plans today. DH had some business to take care of and decided to have his main meal then because he’s bowling tonight and only wants a sandwich. I was out for a massage this morning so I had lunch out too (we were in different towns so couldn’t meet up – probably just as well- he’s a bad influence, lol). I picked up a SW meal for tonight. I’ve not tried them before. I’ll let you know what I think.

    So Tasty Tuesday
    Breakfast: ff Greek yogurt, strawberries
Lunch: baked potato, smoked salmon, Hollandaise sauce, salad. I left most of the sauce. There was an oily dressing on the salad so I’ll count 5 syns for sauce & dressing.
Snack: hm fruit loaf (5 syns)
Dinner: SW chicken chow mein with extra veg (to be decided), an orange
Snack: hexb toast, hexa cheese, grapes

    TTFN.

Not surprised that most people are tattoo free. It's a very personal thing to do. I'd only ever get a tattoo that meant something to me and I always take my time selecting designs before I even go and ask for a consult. I would hate to end up with a tattoo I regret.
Pain wise I didn't find the last one too bad. I can't really comment on the semi-colon one because it's very small and took 5 minutes. My last one took about 45 and it was more if a scratching feeling than painful but I understand the trepidation

Hi all, hope everyone is well?

-4lbs please Shala :j:j:j That bloat last week must have been something :rotfl:

Interesting reading about the clothes sizes - I think I lost 2.5 or 3 stone before I went down a size properly but each half or three quarters stone after that meant another size down. Of course where you shop makes all the difference! And my trouser sizes are much smaller than the tops - and it's not as if I have big boobs...but I am wide of shoulder and back.

In fact, a few months in to SW my OH says 'Oh you've lost weight, your boobs are smaller' ;) So is my @rse my love says I.

I've just realised that 28th July last year is when I signed up(I thought it was August) so it's a year this week and I've lost a smidgen over 5 stone in that time. Will power isn't my strong point and I can't believe that I've stuck at it this long, it gives me hope that'll be able to maintain once I hit target which is only 9LBs away now.

Sorry for the very self indulgent post :o

Hi everyone, am wondering if anyone does SW on their own? I'm currently on mat leave with my 2nd who is 6months and I really need to start shifting some weight! I have the books as I lost over a stone in 2012 before I had my son so know what to do, i just can't afford to go to a class until I'm back at work but I'm worried my lack of willpower will win. This thread is great for support and ideas so I'm hoping I could do it!

    That’s a cracking loss, orlao!

Hi,Minimuffin12, lots of us are going it alone here. The support is amazing - and promptly given.

Well I had the SW chow mein. There was plenty of it. I could taste the ginger and it had a bit of heat. However, I’d not rush/go out of my way to buy it again.
