  • Morning all - I've booked 2 weeks holidays with my consultant...I could go this Saturday but I have so much to do...packing up son and also me and DH for our holiday on Sunday so I'm just taking a break...sticking very much to plan though...last night's tea was cottage pie with a mashed cauli top on it...it was really nice.

I have a tramp stamp (lol) it's a celtic knot with a bit of a flourish...I forget I have it cos I can't see it lol.

I am a wee bit pierced...lobes twice on the right and my cartilage and once on the lobe on the left and my rook pierced...and plans for more...I'm 51 lol

    Good Morning mirry

Sorry about your tooth I remember having a wisdom tooth out many years ago and the gum got infected. I would go back to the dentist if I was you and they will clean it and probably gave you a course of antibiotics. Good luck.

I think that might be what's happening, I phoned the dentist this morning and have to go back at 12 for a check. I woke at 3 am in absolute agony, I looked at the gum and felt sick, it looked such a mess.

The dentist want to check for infection or dry socket which seems rather fast seeing as it's only been 48 hours.

It's already cost me £155 plus two mornings not working (I don't get sick pay) and I'm wondering how much this check is going to cost.

Just read that back.....omg how moany I sound :o
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Thanks shala is there a challenge running this month? I am nearly caught up on the last thread but haven't started this one yet. If so could you pop me down for 8lbs please as a goal. Thanks

    menu for today is:
Breakfast: Eggy bread (HeB), mushrooms and 2 x DG coffee (4 syns)
    snack - melon
Lunch: ham, tomatoes, cucumber, cournichons, pickled onions
dinner: Lamb chops, new potatoes and Morrisons chargrilled veg (4 syns - has plenty of speed veg in and using up what I have in the freezer).
    supper: strawberries and raspberries

If I fancy some more snacks I have plenty of fruit, veg and other bits and bobs in which I can have.

I am working on a syns bank this time so at the end of the day today I should have 97 left if I don't have any more today than planned.

Don't worry mirry, moaning's allowed! I think I'd make a big pot of soup (if you do lentil and veg or some other pulse with veg it'll be SP) and just have a little whenever you feel like it.

Good to see you both back MrsR and maisie.:)

Hope you have a great holiday when it comes gfb. I'd enjoy yourself, take the hit and then get straight back on plan when you return. You'll soon get back in the zone.:)

muffin, there will be a very few changes to Extra Easy since your books were published (mostly some fruit that's now just free and not Speed (previously called Superfree) but if you start posting your menus we'll soon explain any tweaks you need to make.

wiz, it depends on the brand of grapefruit segments but fairly low syn. And I'd avoid the juice/syrup.

    Back soon.
