Hope you have a lovely treat for the anniversary mrsp.

Glad to hear you sounding a bit brighter today tete.:) I'm sure you're right about the extra water and a splash of squash helps for those who don't like it plain.

A match already greentiger! In May I got DH to finish off all the fun size Crunchies as they'd have been out of date soon. It's time to buy in more. Hope you win!;)

I went a bit off plan yesterday but probably within a day's syns although I had plenty to spare. Strangely SIL served up a meal with recipes I'd passed on to her. Flattering I suppose but odd and strange for a hot day but made it easier to spend time chatting. So we had a beef and red wine casserole which I know has about half a pint of wine and a tbsp. of cornflour shared between 4 all the rest is SP. Then loads of Speed veg and new potatoes with that. Pudding was my go-to deconstructed Eton mess/pavlova. So a big bowl of fruit (raspberries/strawberries and blueberries), some meringue nests and a jug of cream for everyone to help themselves. She also offered FF yogurt but I had some cream and half a meringue as I had the syns banked. I also had my first wine syns for July! Didn't eat or drink anything else all day so quite a good SW day.

I've had my SW breakfast (kippers with HEB bread and spread) but need to do a meal plan and shop before anything else happens.
  • Checking in with a STS this week which I'm a bit p!ssed with as my scales say definitely at least a 1/2 off leaning towards a 1lb...her scales work in 1/2 lb increments and I do think they round you up...ah well...onwards :)

Have a great weekend everyone :D

    Hello Humans :j

Just hopping on to let you know the latest...

I did it :D I got to target, and I am actually quite pleased ;)

So going 'sugar free' did work, and I think I'll have to stick with it as I know that one nibble would soon get me nobbled and it would be game over.

Yesterday was last day of term and lots of children very kindly bought me choc and biscs and various goodies and I gave them all away to Mr Frog and the Tadpoles. I didn't even lick the spoon when I made Tadpole 2's bday cake today. I think I'm cured :T

I'm really hoping all my lovely old friends on here are well. I shall have a look back and see how you all are. Just wanted to 'show off' that I have FINALLY done it, and whilst I'm hoping those that remember me will give me some 'well done' s and 'I'm proud of you' s I would also like some common sense talk about not putting it all back on again and defo NOT falling off the wagon. Being sugar free has meant that I'm not even craving it at the moment, but I know full well if I have any a little 'day off' I'll be right back up to 21st before you could say 'wow look at that really fat frog':o

Betty I think the best way of dealing with water retention is to drink more water no? Your body holds onto it because it thinks there's some sort of drought on, but if you keep drinking then it realises it can 'release' what it's hanging on to as it knows there's a plentiful supply? Whoever mentioned the dandelion tea is probably right as well, they're not known as making you wet the bed for nothing!

Thanks Tete! I have been drinking a fair bit of water this week. I don't get puffy hands and ankles etc. but have been feeling bloated in my stomach - perhaps all the veg I've been eating?!

I'm a (relative) newbie but CONGRATULATIONS Frogga, getting to target is amazing! Keep up the good work and stay there! :T:T:T

I went to class this morning and lost 5lbs!! I worked really hard this week so was super pleased though I was expecting 3.5 so 5 blew me away. I'll be glad to see that on Shala's chart after a slow couple of weeks :D

Woo Hoo little green friend, you have been missed, well done so so pleased for you. Common sense talk? hmmmm not my greatest ability these days, or any day. lol, to think of it , would just say try to hang to the feeling you have now you have achieved your target, think about how much you have achieved and how bad you are going to feel if you put it all back on. Its what keeping me at target because I know if a I put it back on its back to the misery of painful arthritic knees, crying in the bath trying to ease the pain. and of course http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/laughing-smiley-014.gif, the expense of having to buy a whole new wardrobe again, or go naked lol, end up arrested, sectioned, banished to care home, come on , sure you can think off loads of other reasons not to do it.

Hubby is taking me to the restaurant in town. It's called The Orchard but it used to be called Mischa's and it's the restaurant where we met at a family friend's 18th birthday meal. I've had a look at the menu online and it looks nice. I could go SW friendly and have steak or I could not :rotfl:
There's a butternut squash and some other veg bake that sounds nice. Dessert will not be SW friendly and I might push the boat well and truly out to sea and have a glass of prosecco and try and make it last all night and hope it doesn't make me depressed tomorrow. We shall see
