I may not find time to post for the next few weeks as we're expecting to be very busy, but I'll try to read everyone's posts and report Monday weigh ins. For those who don't know, my DH and I run a shop on a caravan site and from tomorrow we're open from 8am to 8pm every day, serving bacon butties in the mornings, pasties, cakes and cream teas during the day and pies, fish and chips 3 evenings each week - wish me luck!

Hi fozzie. You will lose if you eat less but EE will only work with Speed. If you don't eat salad what other Speed do you eat? Veg? Fruit? Pickles? I don't have Speed with every meal but try to have at least a third Speed across the day.

Shame you can't do anything about the kitchen lush . It'll have to be at the table or something BF can do on his lap. Only this week I sat on the sofa shelling beans. And you lazy!:rotfl:

1.5lbs loss this week so lost 1.5 stone now!
Went to a different group as I was going to be at the hospital this afternoon so tried the morning class - didn't like it so didn't stay for class. It's a locum consultant as the other lady left, I wasn't given an award sticker or certificate and had to keep asking the consultant for it then it was quickly written and put by me.

I'll no doubt have go there again but not liking not getting to my teatime class it's so nice there and my consultants good.

Oh well needs must as I'm on daily hospital visits and that took hour each way by train and bus today. Hard to keep away from old habits of comfort eating at stressful times and you have to be organised and take food when you don't feel like it and I'm no motivated to cook but I'm keeping going!

Hi Guys! Back from my holibobs - a lovely week spent in Cologne with my crazy cat friends from around the world, with far too much eating of fried foods and ice cream, drinking gin and kolsch and lots and lots of walking. Weighed at home on Sunday morning and was showing a 7 lb gain, cracked back on the plan on Sunday and WI today showed 5 lbs on so I've pulled 2 lbs back in four days. It's also [STRIKE]shark[/STRIKE] star week too. Really happy with that, had such a lovely time, and everyone was astounded at how much I've lost since we were last together in September last year.

    Today's food (SP day)

    Breakfast: Breakfast muffins, nectarine, satsuma
Lunch: Ham salad, apple, pear, satsumas
    Dinner: Prawn stir fry
    HEA: Milk
    HEB1: Oat bran (with quark)
    HEB2: Hifi bars
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

I eat all fruit and veg maman, so have been having a good 1/3 speed over the course of a day.

But not a 1/3 on each plate ie.each meal.

I know on various groups there are 2 trains of thought about that and many arguments. ;)

At my grand old age I am still experimenting with salad :D

I have found I can eat rocket and this week I had some raw celery.....still gag when I try cucumber though

I also bought some coleslaw veg (ready shredded) from Asda. I don't like the SW free mayo recipe I made, but will keep trying to find a dressing of some sort that I like.

    Thank you for your advice!

Gain of 1.5lb this week. Thoroughly fed up. I'm fed up of meal planning and spending a fortune on food and tracking everything I eat and cooking from scratch and the constant piles of washing up as a result. It all just takes up so much time!

On Monday I pulled out a pair of shorts that I've not worn for a while but I thought would be OK as they were baggy on me before, but nope. So I decided to try the "cereal diet" for a bit - since Monday I've had a bowl of cereal for every meal apart from two SW ready meals, and I've actually felt satisfied and not snacked (I've had some nuts but that's it really, perhaps the heat has curbed my appetite a bit too). I *feel* less bloated and was optimistic getting on the scales. Ha.

Ugh I just don't know where to go from here. I'm away with work Mon, Tue, Wed too and will have very little control over my food, so I feel this is yet another week out the window. I've been such a diet bore for the last 12 months and all I've managed to lose is 8lbs :( Perhaps I'll treat this week as a decompression chamber and eat whatever I fancy or whatever's easiest, and go at it with a vengeance when I get home again.

there's something at the bakers me and my dad call fly slice...I'm not even sure of it's real name :rotfl:probably just currant slice or something.

I use quark or low fat/fat free fromage frais and add a shredded or diced apple to mine - very nice and refreshing :)

running out the door to the drs but; 2lb gain for me last night - thoroughly disappointed in myself. Oh well line drawn (I'm even clipped last weeks pages together in my journal so I can move on from it. New week so it's salads when at home until Monday then it's pay day so off out to stock up on essential and have an awesome week!

    Morning

Don't be too despondent this week Tete and any other gainers, the heat has not helped. I've woken up this morning with swollen hands and yesterday had cankles  so there's definite water retention going on so the gains may not be true gains.

We use yogurt with a squidge of light mayo for our dressing fozzie, add a bit of mustard and pepper too and it's nice. Those bags of shredded veg are brilliant aren't they..

Hope you're ok Alison, that doesn't sound like a fun journey everyday especially in this heat!

Good luck for the next 6 weeks Lois :D think of all that body magic! Let's hope the weather stays nice so it brings in loads of customers, then there won't be any goodies left for you to be tempted by!

Sorry a few days ago someone asked about Biggest Loser and I forgot to reply, I apologise but I'm easily distracted :D I think it's usually on Sky Living but the season we watched is over now. They sometimes repeat it though so watch out for it coming back on...

Yesterday was a complete write off for us.. Pizza gate .. Tummy hurts today because of it so that'll learn me :rotfl: but we're on holiday so... Line drawn, back on it today.
