Can't believe the interest in my sausages!;)

Have decided to do sausages and onions and then dug out some spicy tomato sauce from freezer to do patatas bravas. Will have some veg with that, possibly broad beans. All quite tapas-like for those of you discussing Spain. It's a bit low on Speed but I've eaten quarter a melon today and have more if I fancy it.

Your birthday weekend sounds good lush. I do hope this one goes more to plan for you. I think lots of people may have problems with the heat but as it's only water it'll sort itself out eventually.

Unless you really want to treat yourself I'd definitely take your own sweets/nibbles to the theatre along with a cold drink. Not only would it be very mse:money:but at least you'll know the syn count. We go to the theatre regularly and I can't believe the prices they charge for tiny tubs of ice cream. It's really getting to be a rip off.

Bought a bottle of NAS Vimto to cool me down wiz. Yum!!:D

Thanks maman; should be easier as I am not at the mercy of others as I'm the only cook at home! and my weightloss has been abysmal so far to say I'm on a countdown; I'm quite disappointed in myself really so perfect time to step it up!

Yeah I was thinking that too; I've got some cans of NAS Vimto that I bought today and was thinking I could make myself a little goodie bag to take in. still flexi-ing slightly but as you say far more aware of syns. Can take a couple of flumps and will treat myself to some boots flavoured popcorn (coconut and pineapple is 4.5syns for the bag and divine!) and a curly wurly and I'd be within 15 if the meal has no syns ;)

I'm trying to make sure I drink plenty so that I'm not holding any water but doesn't seem to be making a difference. we will see how I get on.

I think I might try for a couple of SP days/as close as I can get to SP next week. I'm thinking fruit with quark for breakfast, chicken/ham salads (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, pickled onion) with cottage cheese/boiled egg for lunch and then omelettes with spinach and veg for tea or another salad...does that look like a decent SP day? don't mind having fairly repetitive days especially on work days (in truth its far easier as I can prep more in advance)

We were away at the weekend and I was too scared to weigh Monday. Been super good since and have lost 1.5lbs . Trying a different meeting which is closer to home. I think Wednesday would suit me better as any off plan days are often the weekend so then I have time to claw it back.

I bought some 5% fat pork mince (on offer in Morrisons £1 for 250g), but checking the calories its 179 kcal for 100g v 5% beef mince 120kcal? I thought pork was suppost to be healthier? Turkey mince is 7% at 140kcal. I'm confused
