Afternoon everyone, I really do enjoy enjoying reading all your posts, but warn you I suffer with serious brain fog some days.

Now I know it's someone's birthday this weekend, and I think it's Lushlifesaver? Am I right? If so "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND ENJOY THE EXTRA SYNS" :D

Well some good news I think :o I'm having my tooth pulled out on Monday.....and it can't come soon enough. I'm not eating much which isn't like me, the pain has killed my appetite and all I've eaten today is 1 banana and 6 fish sticks because they are soft.

But I'm going to to eat a good dinner, I have a packet of co op lightly dusted lemon & pepper sole, they are a twin pack and each piece is 135g per fillet.
I checked my book & it's not in there. I checked on google and nothing comes up. So I'm guessing they are between 5-6syns each. If anyone knows the answer I would be ever so grateful.

It's been 11 days and I've not weighed myself I'm going to carry on just using the tape measure and might weigh
    monthly.

    Ninth Anniversary
Letting the side down a bit this week with a 2.5lb gain  I'm half blaming it on Mother Nature, half on me being a greedy guts :D I can't seem to help myself when its TOTM I get horrendous cramps and get a little voice inside my head saying 'chocolate will make it better' ;) and I'm quite easily persuaded! Well done all the losers so far this week :TI did however have a lovely NSV this morning while doing some holiday clothes shopping, when a pair of size 12 cropped trousers were too big for me :j ended up buying some size 10s which are a tad snug around the waist area but I'm using that as motivation to spur me on to lose some more inches and hopefully they'll fit me nicely this time next month. Can't remember the last time I could fit into a size 10 anything so really over the moon. It just goes to show that a number on the scales isn't everything!

It's so muggy here today, we had thunderstorms and rain yesterday but I don't think it cooled it down any. I'm not a massive fan of hot weather but it's got me drinking loads of water though so not complaining too much.

Back tomorrow with a proper meal plan, have been doing snacky eating today. I never want to eat properly when weather's this warm

I thought summer holidays would be easier when my daughters grew up, got married, left home......enter DGS aged 6!!

All my planned meals went out the window as we have been out Pokemon hunting :o Him walking and me on a mobility scooter, we must have looked an odd pair :D

    B - oat cupcakes (heb)

Stop in caf! (Pok!mon hunting is hot work). Tea for me while DGS had ice cream and Viennese whirl!

Very late lunch - left over Sw cottage pie (bursting with veg)

T - too hot to even think about. Possibly jacket potato with syned cheese and chicken. I would also add a tiny bit of butter.

    Hea is always skimmed milk.

Weight Loss Planner shows that as 6 syns so will have something else later I expect.

Glad you enjoyed the Pok!mon hunting fozzie. I think you need salad or pickles with your JP to get your third of Speed in.

Completely understand about the pre-cooking in the oven lush. I'm sure you could get BF to do some prepping (not just for BBQ). I know it's none of my business but sometimes you seem so busy that sharing the load a bit only seems fair. to the worktops being too high in your new house. Is it possible to get some lowered?

The kitchen is tiny and as we bought it through shared ownership we aren't allowed to change any of it currently though if we did it would make a chunk of the room useless for me!

It's so much easier for me when I can be bothered to prepare ahead then its just grabbing handfuls of ready to go ingredients and cooking them/assembling them in to a proper meal but I have been lazy for far too long when it comes to that! Thank you for being so caring though :) it really means a lot to have people looking out for me, even if it's 'virtually' :)

eep just finished another litre of water...hopefully it will work it's way through by weigh in!

Hi all! Hope everyone's well! I'm back after 10 days in Italy :) Weighed in last night with a gain of 4lbs, and you know what, I'm totally fine with that! I had the most amazing time and ate copious amounts of gelato and pizza, so a gain was only to be expected! I'm back on track now so hopefully the weight will come back off soon enough. Got another holiday booked in 8 weeks time, hoping to get to target (7lbs to go) before then!

Thanks, Lois, for the Light & Low info – and they are indeed lush! Of course my friend is NOT of the skinny variety! She’s much bigger than me, with a ton of health issues, mostly self-inflicted – and she won’t take a telling! However, she’s been my friend for 50 + years. She doesn’t really get out much, so she likes to make the most of it.

Yes, maman, I expected to take the punishment. I had some syns (13) saved already this week and today’s plan only used 1 for xl mayo with my salad. I chose a huge French Fancy (guessing around 20 syns) which didn’t have a bump of synthetic cream on it, lol.

Good luck at the dentist, mirry. I hate going, even for a check up (that’s next week’s joy!).

Love your NSV, candyapple! Well done.

Welcome back, Rebster. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

    Well Thursday was
Breakfast: strawberries, raspberries, FF Greek yogurt
Lunch: ham salad (lettuce, tomatoes, syboes, cucumber, red pepper, potato salad) – 1 syn
Snack: aforementioned French Fancy (friend had a quiche and asked for salad rather than chips, then didn’t eat any of the delicious looking salad!!!!!! AND a giant French Fancy, so I feel :A)
Dinner: SW chilli con carne made with loads of veg, rice, WW raspberry tart yogurt
Snack later: hexb toast with hexb cheese, grapes

I’m happy with that effort. See you all tomorrow.

    .

There's something similar listed on Syns online that's 5 Syns for 120g.

I can use the Syns calculator but I'll need the calories per 100g as well.

    Thanks maman!

    I don't eat salad. :o

I am very unlikely to manage the right amount fruit and veg each meal.......although I am thrilled with the amount I have managed to eat this last week!

As it happens, I even forgot to have the chicken with jp.

    Doh!

But I am perfectly prepared to lose VERY slowly without all the fruit and veg at meal times.

what am I saying??? I am a very slow loser whatever I do or don't eat :rotfl:

    Hi all

It's been much more comfortable today, which I was glad of, heat and humidity really don't suit me. I lost 1/2 lb at class last night but it would have been more if I wasn't retaining fluid, my feet were swelling up.

Commiserations if you haven't lost as much as you expected because of the heat and well done to the losers.

Welcome back Rebster, pleased you enjoyed your holiday, you'll soon get to target once you get back on plan.

Greentiger - :rotfl: at your friend swapping chips for salad but not eating it. One of my pet peeves is when you do that and only get a salad garnish.

I bought a 6 week countdown and got the taste of summer recipe booklet which is quite good. It includes strategies for coping with summer danger zones like barbecues and holidays. The countdown means I'm committed to go back in September and I've set myself a challenge to lose another 7 lbs by then. That's 1lb a week so quite doable.

I may not find time to post for the next few weeks as we're expecting to be very busy, but I'll try to read everyone's posts and report Monday weigh ins. For those who don't know, my DH and I run a shop on a caravan site and from tomorrow we're open from 8am to 8pm every day, serving bacon butties in the mornings, pasties, cakes and cream teas during the day and pies, fish and chips 3 evenings each week - wish me luck!
