Shala can you add me onto the challenge? I'm back and want to be back on the bandwagon. Hoping to lose -10lb by the end of August.
Hope that's ok.
Happy Friday everyone, I've had four days so far on track, fingers crossed for a loss on Sunday WI!! :beer:0 -
Hello all - I've been reading all week but forgot to post lol...(does anyone else do that??) Food has been good but slipping in a glass or two of wine at night...so not good...probably way over my syns...I'm not going to stress too much...I'm going tee total after my holidays (leaving for Lanzarote in just over a week....so. can't. wait!) I will make good food choices when we're away...it's all inclusive but very easy to food optimise...and I don't have a sweet tooth so I'll not be indulging in cake or anything...just lots of cocktails and wine lol
Weigh in in the morning. I also feel a bit bloated from the humidity...my rings are so tight on me!! Will try and drink loads today and see if that flushes it out. Will dig out some dandelion tea...that's supposed to be good for that...it's what the bodybuilders use before their competitions lol0 -

I'm sure you're right beanie. The heat definitely affects some people more than others. It's seems incredibly unfair but I'm sure it'll come right in the end for everyone.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Thoroughly fed up. I'm fed up of meal planning and spending a fortune on food and tracking everything I eat and cooking from scratch and the constant piles of washing up as a result. It all just takes up so much time!
It really isn't necessary to spend a fortune or loads of time tete. Because I've been feeling rough the last three weeks I've made the quickest, simplest meals I can to save me standing in the kitchen for any length of time. Fish (in the oven from frozen) with a few new potatoes and some green stuff or mushrooms and tomatoes cooked in the oven alongside the fish is one of the simplest. Or jacket potatoes with a dollop of cottage cheese and beetroot on the side. Personally I had some HM ready meals in the freezer but shop bought ones are OK when needs must. When you're ready to start afresh, tell us what sort of things you like to eat.
I don't have a third Speed at every meal fozzie. I almost never have any at breakfast but make up for it by going for more like 50% for the rest of the day. I'm not a big fruit/snack fan so it's mostly veg and pickles (beetroot, cornichons, pickled cabbage)for me.
I've had my SW breakfast (fried egg on HEB toast) and I'm going out for lunch. It'll be the first time in three weeks I've been anywhere other than the surgery or supermarket. As it's at SIL's home (who recently got to target) it'll be interesting to see what she serves up. Whatever happens I've (most unusually:D) got loads of syns available if I end up off plan. Will report back later.
I do hope business is good through the school holidays lois and fingers crossed you manage to avoid temptation and stay on plan while you can't get to class. Keep in touch.:)
Have a great birthday weekend lush. Enjoy!:)0 -

Our consultant has told us that there are 3 new additions to the SW ready meals coming out...sweet and sour chicken and sweetcorn chowder coming at the end of July and SW chip shop curry sauce coming out in September...I'll look forward to the curry sauce.0
