Had a busy day so haven't read back yet.

WI this morning was not as bad as feared but bad enough - +3.8lbs for me please, shala. Oh well, that's a marker.

    Good morning everyone,

Hot, hot, hot!! Pleased to report a loss of -3lbs (thanks for the chart Shala). Lost the week away gain and a surprising additional 1lb. Mind you, I have been to the gym a lot, and for me this does make a difference.

Enjoy the sun, trying not to think of ice-cream/lollies and cold G&T!!

Morning every one. Well I've past my first week on slimming world (8 days) and had one really bad day, I'm still waiting for my tooth to be removed at the hospital and living on pain killers. Monday I was in so much pain I couldn't face dinners (all that chewing) so ate 3 walnut whips all day (without the wall nut) and let them melt in my mouth.
The only other thing I ate was a banana sandwich, so I'm hoping it won't effect things as I ate about 900 calories all day.

I'm now on different pain killers & a little bit more in control but it's still agony, never known pain like it and I dislocate my joints often enough:(

Hubby went to get me a loaf for my HEB and came back with a Hovis Wheat germ 400g, so as it's not wholemeal I'm not sure if this is allowed. Any views on this would be appreciated.

I've stocked up on bottles of flavoured drinks for this hot weather & will not be leaving the house much today, which will give me time to meal plan. On a positive note, my trousers felt looser this morning :)
    Kindness costs nothing :)

    Morning all,

rough weekend food wise (fil bbq did not go to plan for many reasons but mostly stress eating as littlie sustained a few bumps and cuts! and treated to breakfast out yesterday for my bday as won't see my brother until after now) but line drawn and today is a new day.

Too hot for me with no breeze etc so trying to keep my fluids up and eat what I can.

Breakfast: Water and a peanut hifi (heb)
lunch: mugshot (chicken noodle so free) passion fruit and some free rhubarb and vanilla yogurt
    tea: chicken salad

I snack rather than have meals when it's hot so I also have; 2 boiled eggs, cherries and some easy peelers which I'm working through

  • Morning everyone

Another scorching hot day here, not a cloud in the sky. Will be drinking plenty of water today I think, I'm absolutely baking hot. It's not been the greatest week for me food-wise, star week has taken hold of me and making me eat bad things :o so not really expecting great things tomorrow but we will see

Well done beanie for SOTW :T and congrats you other losers

    shala
that dress is gorgeous, lovely colours. I'm currently looking for maxi dresses for my impending holiday as 2 of my current ones are too big and fall off me at the shoulder hurrah :D I also need new 3/4 length trousers and shorts (as my current ones are falling off me). This losing weight and inches is expensive sometimes!

    Today's food:

B - daytox cuppa as I woke up late
L - BNS soup with ryvitas HEB and laughing cow light HEA
T - working late so WW meal of lemon chicken risotto (5.5 syns) with lots of speedy veg

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi Everyone!

I'm back. I have restarted slimming world and am back in the game for good now. After a bit of a bumpy couple of months, I am determined to get myself back to where I was before.
I know the best support I was getting before was from this lovely forum, so I thought I would come back and get on the band wagon again.

I see you've got a challenge going on until the end of August, I'd like to join (if that is ok) and put my target as -10lbs.

Hope everyone is well, and been better then me with this :T:T

Oh Shala~~ Thanks as always for the chart :)
So pleased to be SOTW :j :j (Was in class as well :)
Dont normally loose enough so :j :j

    Love the dress.
My upper arms do not lend themselves to sleeveless sadly.

    Double celebration! :j:j

My arms also do not lend themselves to sleeveless (or legs to dresses at all really) but I thought i'd go for it anyway.. it's quite low cut so i'm hoping the distraction will be enough for people not to look at my arms!:rotfl:

Ohhh mirry hope you haven't got long to wait for your op.. sounds awful. The bread is a HEB, so hubby did well - 2 slices for your heb!

Welcome back Lantanna - I was thinking of you yesterday - I was buying pants.. :rotfl: You and the Bucket knickers!!

Hope littlie is ok Lush xx

It really is, but it wonderful when you can fit in the clothes and they look nice :D :j I know some people shop in the charity shops for cheaper clothes but ours are rubbish round here...

Is anyone watching Biggest Loser this year(season 15)? it's amazing how much they lose in a few months but we watched the finale last night. The winner had a 62% loss:eek:.. very dangerous, way under their healthy BMI. Shocking that people push themselves to that level to win the competition..

We were out early this morning, had the dentist and then went into town shopping, definitely beat the heat so late breakfast for me. Bought the new sw chimchurri burgers to try at the weekend, people at class rave about them.

    Plan for today...
    B/snack - fruit salad, yogurt
    L - leftover lasagne, salad
    T - hunters chicken (hea & 2) sw chips(1) salad
    S - crisps (5) animal biscuits (5)
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

:T to arkers and slowly fading and congratulations beanie on SOTW. You're a fine example of how plodding on brings results!!:T

Good to have you back on board belsy.:)

Hope you're back on plan greentiger, you should easily shift the holiday gain if you do.

Hope you enjoyed your week off lantanna. If you're hoping for a small loss you must have been very well behaved.

Sorry to hear the BBQ was stressful lush. Such a shame as you had such good intentions. I'm sure regular small meals is a good solution when it's hot.

mirry, Hovis Wheatgerm 400g is coming up as a HEA so no problem.

As I've been nowhere much (other than GP and Aldi:D) for the past couple of weeks I've not been tempted by meals out. Plan is to eat out on Friday but as it's with SIL (who just got to target on SW) maybe it'll OK. I'll be interested to see what she serves up.

    Today's plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Puffed Wheat with HEA milk and raspberries
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: salmon, new potatoes, green stuff (broccoli, peas, mange tout).
    Syns: maybe a little chocolate
