I was so excited that my 2016 food directory turned up today.
So I decided to look up the ready meal I purchased from sainsburys...

BE GOOD TO YOURSELF chicken tikka masala & pilau rice 400g

And it's not in there :(

I was planning this meal for tomorrow & now wish I had the sw calculator. Can anyone please help me work it out?

    It says per 100g
    Fat 1.8g
    Stats 0.5g
    Carb 15.2g
    Protein 6.8g

I feel awful having to ask but as I've purchased it :o
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Yippee, it's Friday, I'm looking forward to a glass of wine tonight. :D

Anyone watch 'Eat well for less' this week? They did pasta bolognese with puy lentils and it looked really nice. I'm always on the lookout for filling veggie meals just to have meat/fish free days occasionally. Recipe here.

I'm cooking sausage ragout tonight, it's a recipe I used to do on Green days with Quorn sausages, but tonight I'm using BGTY sausages - 2 per person is plenty so only 2 Syns each, and I'll have 4 sausages to freeze for next time. I'm going to do baked apples with mincemeat as a HEB to up the speed food, the ragout contains onions, tomatoes and peppers.

Maman - I used to have those glasses, they would be great for sundaes. Unfortunately I haven't got them anymore and our nearest ikea is Bristol, about 2 hours drive away!

Well done to all the losers this week. Hope your WI was better than expected Shala.

    Back soon,

    LL :)

Just dashing in to say well done to all you losers among us - brilliant results everyone :T:T:T.

Well this week I lost 0.5lb which brought me down to the bottom end of target range which I was delighted with. However since then I've had a day totally off plan (real big time off plan :o) and my meds have all been changed which usually results in quite a sizeable gain so not holding out much hope for a good result at the next weigh.

Looking forward to hearing how the G&T jellies go Lois :D.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

    Day 4

B - made carrot cake baked oats, added a teaspoon of baking powder for 1/2 syn. Ate 2 slices. Over 1/2 left for later or tomorrow.

L - chicken breast, cold rice and boiled potatoes. Salad. 2 tablespoons light mayo 4 syns 1 tablespoon pickle 1 syn. Strawberries. Nectarine.

NB: I used a proper measuring spoon......realised that the old fashioned tablespoon I have used in previous times holds about 3 times as much!! Oops!!

T - left over SW spag bolognaise includes carrot, onion, red pepper, mushrooms, courgette, tomatoes. Will add 25g parmesan at 5 syns.

    So 10.5 syns so far.

Just finished looking after 6 year old GS and DH at work till 10.30pm so dangerous evening for my picking habit!! :o

Will have Wotsits or Fibre One bar for another 4 or 5 syns.

Anything else will need to be free fruit.

I CAN do this!! Probably ;)

Managed to lose 3lb this week which is great.
Went out for dinner tonight 3 course vegan curry night - I was lucky one pudding option was fruit salad and yoghurt, I had 1/2 a churros and 1 spoonful of crumble to taste so that works in fine. The chefs had made a lot of low fat options - handy for the 3 of us who are at Slimming World.

WI STS which is amazing after the last couple of weeks plus school trip Thursday!
Talking of trip, managed to stay out of most photos but child had my camera and snapped me doing daft stuff :p. Photo surprised me as I don't particularly feel slim (even all these years at target, brain still thinks I'm fat :o) but I look really THIN . Was a side on view :D I always think I'm wider front view :rotfl: was amazed how tiny my thighs looked, probably optical allusion :rotfl:.

The end is in sight, schools out next week. Wednesday is last day, really can't wait :p

Have a good weekend all, keep the faith :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
