Sorry not been around as snowed under with work and life :o

Not read back as too many pages :p hope everyone is doing well, hugs to any poorlies or peeps that need it :A

STS this week but guessing life will catch up soon enough. Was my wedding anniversary last wed & hubby cooked a massive mixed grill. Was still feeling the effects the next day :p. Was his birthday Sunday and we went to Cosmo! Never Again!! Was really disappointed with the place as had been recommended by several people. The staff were rude! Son burnt himself on boiling hot container as the lid came down as he got food. Used the ice from his drink to make ice pack :D. Food was cold or luke warm and the deserts looked like they came from Iceland . Nothing had ingredients stated so I was dubious about what to eat so stuck to what I know which was boring as could have had at home!
Disappointing end to birthday celebration :(.
So food been off course last week, trying to pull it back but the chocolate gateau got me last night :o
Will do better today (hopefully) :D

    Have a good one!
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks for the chart Shala and congratulatons Rebster on SOTW - great work!

Weld one Mrsp1987 on your stone award and club 10 - you're so close to target now!

I am slightly embarrassed to report a STS this week. I knew I wasn't sticking to plan at the start of the week but I just couldn't get my head in the game enough to even do SP for the couple of days - ate chocolate and other "naughties" the night before weigh-in which is not like me!

Feeling a bit down about it because of the wasted opportunity to add to my weightloss and because I know better but still messed up. :(

    Morning all,

I'm feeling a bit down today. I binged last night - total emotional eating but at the time I didn't care. Feel so bad today though it's unreal. I just can't get my !!!! in gear despite my lovely journal :( not going to reach my goal for my wedding dress fitting. bah.

    Today:
breakfast: Weetabix with milk (heb, part hea), tea (milk from remaining hea) and easy peeler
mid morning: banana, rich tea bisuict (1)
lunch: salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, pickled onion, pepper) with roast beef and free cottage cheese
mid afternoon: cherries. asda rhubarb and vanilla yogurt (free)
tea: planning gammon and veg (lettuce, peas, sweetcorn, carrots, beetroot, pickled onion, tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper)

hopefully I can salvage my week after a terrifically rubbish weekend Really need to get on top of the weekends at the caravan. I'm thinking if I do baked omelette bites on the Thursday then I can have some at work on the Friday and some at the caravan on Saturday and sunday (with baked beans) then I'll need to take a box of salad (with pasta/rice in) for at the auctions on Saturday and will also take boiled eggs, urban fruit, some free pop as well as nas squash. will change the salads for homemade soup and a flask in cooler months. I can take bread for the others and some cooked meat to make sandwiches. will also take a box of prepped fruit (melon and pineapple seem to last the best once prepped) and apples/easy peelers and cheese for little one.

no idea why this month seems harder than usual. going to start doing a proper, formal, meal plan with OH every week and sticking to it rigidly (family night is Saturday night so room for 'treats'/something to look forward to there).

really want to try and pick it up for the next 8 weeks (when my journal runs out) and pay day is two weeks yesterday so how does this look for work days:
breakfast: omelette bites (mushroom, tomato and pepper in them) with baked beans and spinach (would this count as an SP meal?)
lunch: salad (spinach/lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper, beetroot, pickled onion) with ham or chicken. free yogurt and fruit.
mid afternoon: apple or Satsuma with a can of free pop
tea: family meal (replacing chips with salad/rice/pasta/jacket potato) some syns probably used here most nights
evening: hot chocolate (4 - to allow for cream) treat size chocolate (typically 5) or 2 coconut snow rolls (5) depending on syns used during the day

days off would be pretty similar but breakfast would likely change to a normal omelette or bacon and eggs with beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. does that look decent?

Hi everyone, after a long time I've decided to give it another go.
    3 stone to loose & I want to avoid wheat/high sugar/aspartamine....should be fun:o.

I suppose I should send of for the latest book for sin values....does anyone know where is cheapest? Also any recommendations for cheap sw meals would be great :D

Also does any one know the sun value for sainsburys hash browns?
    I'm addicted to them :p

How do I work out the syn value of a protein bar I have as they are not in books? This is the value, but it's a 40.5g bar

    Per 100g
    Energy cal 380
    Fat 13.3
    Sats 6.7
    Carbs 34.8
    Sugars 23.0
    Protein 30.1

Any help on this would be much appreciated :)
    Kindness costs nothing :)

syn calculator says 7.5syn for the protein bar

can't find sainsburys hash browns specifically. but has browns are generically listed as 2 each if baked/grilled

Thank you for the information. Now I need to decide what to have for dinner & write a weeks meal plan.

I can't decide if it's worth joining online membership, but it looks expensive. If I do join how much do they charge for the food directory, as I can't see it?
