Hi all
Quiet here, everyone must be busy doing weekend things. We've been in the middle of a low cloud all day, hoping for it to clear and the sun to make an appearance but don't think it's going to now. Tomorrow looks better.
Greentiger - have a lovely time in Italy, Lake Maggiore is lovely.Same here. The opera ones are really great. Locally, when they relay from the NY Met it's teatime here and people turn up with hampers, wine etc. It's brilliant.
I haven't managed to persuade DH to go to an opera one yet, but I'd love to. I'll have to find someone else to go with me.
Top Girl - thanks for the vegetable chilli recipe, that sounds really good. I've got some tinned veg chilli from Asda, syn free, I may have that later as DH has his eye on a pasty.
Right, closing time! See you tomorrow.

Hi everyone
Having a quiet one today as it's my day off, had a lovely lie in this morning until 10.30 it was bliss
Have struggled a bit this week and strayed a few times but yesterday was good and hoping the next 3 days will be too. Had a sneaky peek on the scales and saw a tiny loss so hoping that'll motivate me to keep on track until weigh day
Today's food:
B - overnight oats with strawbs and cherries
L - pasta bake using homepride jar (12 syns for my portion  but hoping to make those the only syns today) with green beans
T - not really thought that far ahead but probably SW fry up
Hoping to squeeze some body magic in today with a workout DVD
Hope you're all having a good Sunday

Hi all
The weather is better today, still cloudy but the sun has been trying to make an appearance. We haven't been very busy in the shop so I left DH on his own at 11 and came home to do the ironing and make celery soup for lunch.
I found something interesting on the sainsburys website - courgetti nests - it's dried courgetti that you can keep in the store cupboard, it takes 5 minutes to cook it in a pan of boiling water and would be great for SP days. In the new SW magazine they suggest combining courgetti with proper spaghetti, which would be a good way to reduce carbs and increase speed foods on EE.
Candyapple - 12 syns is a lot to use for a meal, I make pasta bake with passata with a stock cube and some Italian herbs, which is syn free. Sometimes if I've got leftover chilli or spaghetti bolognese I use that with a tin of chopped tomatoes. Both options are great with a hea of cheese melted on top. It's your choice how you use your syns of course but just think of the treats you could have had instead!
Hope everyone's having fun whatever you're doing.

Yesterday just seemed to disappear so meal planning and shopping is a treat still in store.;)
I stayed on plan yesterday, did some lamb shanks with SW roasties and veg from the freezer. I ate the last Welshcake as my only syns for the day. I've been back on plan for a week now and must have been way under the 105. I can tell I'm ill, I've not had any wine syns for 9 days!
So far today I've had baked beans on HEB toast. Will report back later how the rest of today works out.
Dull here but at least it's not raining. Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend.:)0 -

Afternoon all, hope everyone is good?! I haven't managed to catch up on the thread yet (still!!!) so I'm off to make a cuppa after this post and go back about 10 pages!
I had a trial shift in a local bar/restaurant last night, was only supposed to go in for a couple of hours, started at 6:30pm, didn't get out til 2am!!! It was so busy at the end of the night the manager gave me £22 in tips! :j I wasn't supposed to get anything lol don't even know if I have the job yet!
I'm already working full time I just need something extra as I've got a lot of things to pay out for over the next few months, including going back to Greece!
Anyhoo, sorry, that wasn't very slimming world! I'm meal prepping today and trying to get on top of the mountain of washing to do,
Tonight Matthew I'm going to be cooking:
Massive omelette with green pepper, onion, mushrooms and ham
Pork with tomato and cucumber chunks and Greek potatoes
Chicken breasts with broccoli and carrot/swede mash
Pasta with passata, onion, bacon, mushroom
That will all be divided into lunch boxes for the next 5 days, I aim to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day if I can manage to fit them in as if I get too hungry between meals that's when my willpower disappears and I fall off the SW wagon!!
HEA will be milk in tea/Philly extra light
HEB will be 2 ryvita/2 hifi or Alpen light bars
Syns will be wine, mayo and popcorn! :rotfl:
Right, off to make that cuppa! TTFN! :coffee:Credit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

...slinking in with a 1/2 gain this week...which is a (sorry)a pile o' pish!! literally every meal on plan and started running this week *turns over all the tables*
ah well...number one son and last remaining member of the furball children leaves home tomorrow...dunno...maybe emotional stress on the body...he's a lovely guy and never a minutes bother...maybe my soul is sad and retaining love and sadness and fluid lol!!
In other news it looks like I've had a serious reaction to my fitbit!! Not the band but the bit itself!! It's like a real burn! It's red raw and awful looking! Dunno why..I've had this fitbit or about 3 years...I actually thought it was something like cellulitis!! It;s quite an extreme reaction!! Totally out of the blue!0
