Picked up my journal last night, and finish work today for a week so I am one happy bunny!
This week will be a test for me as I am off but hoping I can keep it under control. Will plan some meals later today and will get back to the gym where I haven't been in weeks. Really really looking forward to my week off, this time last year I was recuperating from my op so didn't really get to enjoy it. A week of amusing myself lies ahead and I plan on enjoying it.
There will be plenty of gin syns this week but hoping to keep other syns minimal and eat lots of speed.
Roll on 5pm so I can escape!0 -
Wahhh, 3lb gain for me this week Shala
Do you know, if it had been like 1lb I'd have been really disappointed and felt I deserved it, but 3lb is a bit perplexing - I don't think I've been THAT bad and I've done loads of exercise this week as well.
So. Onwards. Apple and yoghurt for breakfast then maybe Austrian Hash for lunch, haven't had that in a while. Need to do a meal plan and go shopping. Well done to all the losers! xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Feeling much better today, my hayfever tablets have sorted me right out :j get well soon all you poorlies I hope you're all better soon
Thanks shala I hope so! I was cursing mother nature earlier in week before WI as I had horrible crampy pains and thought I was getting my 2nd TOTM in a month (once a month is bad enough :rotfl:) So whether that has anything to do with water retention who knows .. we shall see on Wed
I didn't behave very well yesterday but back on the wagon again today. I might do a couple of SP days if I can psych myself up enough, last time I did SP for a few days I had a decent loss but will wait til I've got rid of my bananas I think they're nicely ripe at the mo
Food today shall be:
B - crunchy bran with banana, satsuma and peach to follow mid morning
L - chicken or tuna mayo with savoury rice (will check syns) and salad
T - Chilli (syns as from packet) with rice and veg
Sun's out here but I'm working which is typical - hope it lasts past midday
Enjoy Friday everyone

Lantanna~~ so chuffed for you. :j. :j. :j
Thanks Beanie you know how it goes, just got to try and stay on track and not let anything knock me off my stride.
The one lb a week target I've set myself until xmas seems to be helping. That seems totally doable and also I really want to feel good about myself this xmas!0 -
morning all
happy to report a loss of 1.5lb last night :j
not really feeling like anything today
breakfast: mug of warm winter spice Ribena (free) plus I have some omelette bites and roast pepper. not touched the peppers as yet and I've had 2 of the 4 omelette bites. not sure what's up with me!
snack: grapes and an easy peeler
lunch: I have an event 12.30-1.30 so I brought in some free cottage cheese and some dutch crispbreads (1.5syn each) and will have a couple before I set off. I have a mugshot (chicken noodle so free) in my drawer too in case I want something when I come back
snack: activia rhubarb yogurt (3.5) plus a weight watchers dark choc and mint biscuit (3.5 syn and surprisingly nice - I got them in the poundshop expecting them to be alright for a chocolate fix but they are tasty)
tea: we are off to the caravan tonight, just for one night, so something either quick or on the go. not decided as yet. I may well flex it and then cook on plan tomorrow.
I have bought some free lemonade to take to the caravan and I have a small melon, easy peelers and cherries which I am going to prepare and then take to the auction. I will probably prepare a sandwich of some kind using heb bread too so I can avoid the chocolate bars and bacon butties! going to take a can of vimto (no sugar so free) and a bottle of squash along too so no excuses to cave! will take plenty for littlie too************************************

Morning all
I tried to write a post yesterday but my internet kept dropping out and I gave up in the end!
Had an evening out with DH - we went to the cinema to see a theatre production of Romeo and Juliet, which was really good. It's almost like being in a real theatre, they have an interval and sold ice creams and drinks in the auditorium, and the audience applauded (as though the cast could hear them!)We took our own interval supplies as I refuse to pay cinema prices! We shared a bag of giant buttons (10.5 syns for half a bag) and some grapes.
It's wet and miserable here this morning and all this talk of soup has made me fancy some - I've got some celery that was yellow stickered in the coop the other day so that will do nicely.Well done Lois, do you think it will give you extra motivation now you've moved down to your next stone?
Thank you. Yes, I'm definitely in the zone at the moment, focussed and motivated. I've set myself a monthly goal and I think breaking up the total into bite size chunks is helping me stay focussed.Don't trust it GFB, I was 1lb up Wednesday night and I've miraculously lost 2 tonight.. I've told OH to hide the scales now as i'm fed up of it lying to meand it really affects my mood.
I was weighing myself every morning and on Monday I'd lost 2lb, then on Tuesday it was back on again, then on Wednesday it was gone again which shows how much my weight can fluctuate from one day to the next. I haven't weighed myself since Wednesday as I've decided to stick to once a week and go with that result for the chart.*pulls t-shirt over head*
*runs round room like a loony*
*realises no one needed to see all that*
*sits quietly in corner*
I DID IT :j:j:j I lost the 1 lb I needed to get my 3 stone award.
Love the celebration! :rotfl:
Well done for your 3 stone award even though you didn't get your sticker.
I lost out on a half stone sticker because I changed groups - they'd run out of stickers on the last day at my first group when I'd lost half a stone. It's on the website though.
Well done Beanie, Shala, Emmylou and anyone else who lost the pound they needed to achieve a milestone. :TMatron_Midge wrote: »Maybe all the walking, swimming and salads will do the trick even if the bread and vino tinto does not:D
If you fancy a long cold drink with red wine, ask for a tinto verano with sin azucar gaseosa - it's like a white wine spritzer and very refreshing. The gaseosa is like diet lemonade so the only syns are for the red wine but make sure it's sin azucar (sugar free). Have a lovely time - I'm a bit envious, can't wait to get back there again.
Hope everyone having holidays and breaks has a good time, with at least some summery weather.
Have a good day.

Thanks so much Maman and Rebster, those SP suggestions are great. I always forget about omelettes for some reason so they are back on the menu and I love a good casserole - I might make some carrot and swede mash to go with.
Candyapple I know just how you feel. My scales at home showed a 1lb gain yesterday so I "celebrated" by stuffing my face with a large bag of Maltesers! I don't know what's wrong with me sometimes. Expecting a 2lb gain on Monday as it's that TOTM and I have really struggled to stay in track. Going to try a couple of SP days for damage limitation.
Congratulations to Beanielou, Shala and Emmylou for reaching your various stone targets, that's fantastic! Well done to all the other losers too, great work. :T
I think I am going to change groups as it is getting hard to get to the Monday class as DH has been away a bit with work and I don't really like taking the kids with me.0 -
:Tto all the losers. You're doing so well and I'm really pleased for you!
I'd completely agree with keeping away from the scales midweek. I don't have any scales at home so fortunately never tempted. I'd be afraid I'd get obsessive and be weighing every time I went into the bathroom.
Still coughing well but I do feel a little bit better. All I've had so far is a HEX porage breakfast. I've no enthusiasm for cooking so will probably do some fish from the freezer tonight (with new potatoes and veg). If I get hungry in between maybe a little omelette.
Have a great week off lantanna. It'll soon be 5 p.m.:)0 -
