Sorry to hear you've succumbed too topgirl
I keep hoping to feel better then the coughing starts again.:(

Only in Britain would we be fancying soups in the middle of summer. I particularly enjoy lentil and veg made with the stock from cooking a piece of gammon. I used to put potatoes in lantanna but just so it gives me a SP lunch I just have onion, leek and carrots now.

Stir fry is on tonight's menu but really not in the mood to prep veg. Perhaps DH will step in. :D

Well done to losers and fingers crossed for those weighing tonight.:)

    Hi all,

Busy week again this week and TOTM too so not feeling too optimistic for WI tomorrow. My meals have been OK but I've definitely had too much chocolate and am feeling, ahem, 'bloated'. Next week will be calmer so I really need to stop fannying around and take myself in hand :o

I bought the new magazine tonight and I've read through the recipes - there were quite a few of them that involve equipment I haven't got, mlike a liquidiser, food processor etc, I haven't got space for any more gadgets so I won't be doing them.

That's disappointing - I hate it when you get half way through a recipe only to find you don't have an essential piece of kit

Hope everyone's doing ok, love to all!

We're Nannie and Papa - this is what our Grand daughter called us...I wanted to be granny - but my parents are still kicking about and THEY are Granny and Grandad. And MrGFB's mum is GrannyK -

My SIL's parents are Nana and Pops - so quite confusing all round lol

Our little one calls my parents Grampy/Gramba and Nanny, OH's parents are Grandma and Granddad and then OH's grandparents are grandma and grandpa ... no idea how she keeps track bless her.

Weigh day so I've kept it light today; hoping for 1lb minimum off but we will see how we go :) I think 1lb off gives me my stone but I would like 1.5lb off - and I have been on plan this week even when flexi-ing I kept track of my syns!

Caravan this weekend but only for Friday night so I will probably have a quick/off plan tea tomorrow. then Saturday if we are back home at a reasonable time so I'll make something on plan if not it will be the usual Chinese but I can flex that in no problem :)

Brilliant loss, Rebster. BTW we’re heading to Italy on Sunday, to Lake Maggiore this time. I LOVE Italy! Where are you staying?

Good loss for you too, Lois. I’m sure the lady appreciated you spending time to help her.

I’m a soup fan (apart from mushroom or anything with rice in it), but in summer (!!!!????!!!!) I get fed up ‘cos I’m the only one that wants to have it just now and a pot lasts forever! I’d freeze it but freezer is little and usually stuffed.

Well done, B17c and debjay. You’re setting a great example.

I like your celery tip, meg. Thanks for that.

I usually have any kitchen apparatus that’s needed – but I grudge using it because it’s more washing up – that doesn’t usually go in the dishwasher!

Today I stuck better to plan – finally!

Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, hexb fruit & fibre, splash hexa milk
Lunch: Batchelor’s Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, Cheese & Broccoli, beetroot, WW lemon & lime yogurt
Snack: 2 rather soft :( ginger nuts (4)
Dinner: bacon, egg, Heck pork sausage (3), baked beans, SW chips, 30g hm wholemeal bread (3)
Snack: small piece cheese (hexa remainder) & apple

Still trying not to buy any food before we go away, although today I gave in and bought milk and eggs. I’ve enough to get by, I think, although some stuff is getting a bit unappetising e.g.softish ginger nuts!

Snuggle up, poorlies, and look after yourselves.

    Evening

2lbs off for me :j got my stone award at last!! Next mini-target 5lb for my club 10..

Lush, beanie - hope you've managed your 1lbs too..

Well done all the losers, stsers and keep going gainers xx

Hope you're feeling better soon maman and topgirl x
I love the journal but I have to admit I've struggled with the reflective bits/exercises. I haven't filled in the page with the hearts where you're supposed to write what you love about yourself. or coloured any balloons or done the inspiration/lightbulb page. I'm not sure why but it's almost like I don't feel I have anything to say on those pages which is just daft :/

You could always get your OH to help you... it'll boost your self esteem as well as help you get started. That's what I did, sometimes it's hard to give yourself compliments.. :D

Enjoy your hols Matron midge, Greentiger and Rebster  going to be quiet in here again next week ;)

It could be water retention or something candyapple, keep plodding and you may have a big loss next week instead!

Well done Lois, do you think it will give you extra motivation now you've moved down to your next stone?
sneaky peak on the scales looks like I'm up 2 lbs!!

Don't trust it GFB, I was 1lb up Wednesday night and I've miraculously lost 2 tonight.. I've told OH to hide the scales now as i'm fed up of it lying to me :D and it really affects my mood..

Hope everyone else is ok xx

I DID IT :j:j:j I lost the 1 lb I needed to get my 3 stone award.

And then the bloody consultant didn't have any 3 stone certificates, so I need to wait until I'm back from holiday in two weeks to get it. But I did get the shiny, and my book looks fabulous now! And I have given myself total permission to eat whatever I want when I'm away, without guilt or anything else. I will try and eat relatively healthily and with a bit of thought, but I will not kick myself when I have deep-fried German treats. I will write it down though, just so I can keep track. I've decided to weigh myself at home on the morning before I leave, and the morning after I get back, and then I will do 4 days of SP with scan bran to try and pull it back a bit.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
