I ate chocolate & pom bears while watching Andy Murray.
The stress was too much :rotfl:
    Worth it though!

Candyapple - 12 syns is a lot to use for a meal

I know :o What's scary about that is pre-SW I'd have thought nothing of using a jar like that for a few meals a week. We used to live off jars of creamy korma and dolmio etc. I didn't feel deprived though using up so many syns on 1 meal yesterday - enjoyed it more than I would have done a choc bar and it kept me full for hours :)

    Morning :)

I've just realised it's Monday and I forgot to weigh in this morning - - can you put me down for a STS please Shala.

Candyapple - it's funny when you think about eating habits pre-SW and it makes you realise why we need to do SW. I used to have a bowl of cereals that was equivalent to about 3 HEBs and sometimes had toast for breakfast as well and then a shop bought sandwich for lunch. I've virtually given up cereals now, only occasionally having overnight oats.

Beanie - the Wimbledon final was great, Scotland must be very proud of their son. :)

GFB - look out for empty nest syndrome. I was down in the dumps for ages when my children left home. I soon started to appreciate their absence though, we could leave the house in the morning and it was still the same in the afternoon, nobody had raided the fridge and left the kitchen in a mess while we were at work. I saved a fortune in shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste too!

Have a good week everyone, good luck with your weigh ins.

    LL :)

Sounds like stress all round for you gfb and then a lousy gain on top!! All I can suggest is you just keep plodding and don't let the stresses push you to comfort eating. Your food is something you can control. If you stick to plan, the losses will come.:grouphug:

Certainly sounds like good bodymagic at the bar B17c and if you're too busy to eat or drink rubbish then that's a bonus too.:Ton planning your lunches ahead.

Decided yesterday (as getting to closing time and I was feeling rough) to send DH to Sainsbury's just to shop for essentials like milk and bread and enough for yesterday evening. Had tried to meal plan with him but he was suggesting things like chicken pie and oven chips just in case he had to cook it himself. Last night he managed a sausage casserole by following a recipe that our DDs used to make when they were at school. It was a bit light on Speed (onions, tomatoes and mushrooms) but at least he bought the right (1 syn) BGTY sausages. I grazed on a punnet of raspberries later to balance it off.

Today I've had a HEX porage breakfast. I could just about manage from the freezer if necessary but hoping to be up to a proper shop.

Good luck to anyone with a Monday WI.:)
