Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Mary for that amazing loss.:T. You've achieved half your target on the first week of the challenge.

Congratulations to Mary on being SOTW :T and a massive well done to all our lovely losers :T
Weighed in tonight with a gain of 1.5lbs but all is good as I needed to gain 0.5 to get back into target range so still being 2lb below target is good and I'm a happy bunny for now.
Enjoy lots of lovely cuddles with your new grandson Lois.
Weather here is awful too. Everyone coming into class were complaining that we have gone back to winter. Had to keep reminding myself that we are now in July.
Had a lovely class tonight celebrating target members and in particular diamond target members (been at target for over a year). People really made an effort with the tasters they brought too.
Hope you all have a good week.

I’m in a cold and rainy location too.
Well done, Lois. You’ve made fantastic progress.
Great stuff, mrsp and New Me.
Well done for being SOTW, mary – it might help dull the pain in your leg!
Put me down for 0.8lb loss please, shala the chartkeeper. It’s not much but it is fair. I don’t know how this week will go. We are eating from our stockpile in the freezer/pantry as we are off on holiday on Sunday. I won’t be posting a weight next week so put me down for STS then please.
Monday’s Menu
Breakfast: scrambled eggs on toasted Kingsmill Thin (hoping this is hexb – can’t keep up) (poss 5 syns)
Lunch: baked potato, tuna mayo (1 syn), salad of lettuce, tomatoes, syboes, cucumber, WW pink grapefruit yogurt
Snack: Borders oat crunch lemon biscuit (4 syns)
Dinner: 2 small sausages of indeterminate variety (8 syns?), baked beans, fried onions, mashed potatoes, quarter of a Galia melon
Snack: 3 mini Babybel light and grapes
I’m out for lunch tomorrow and Wednesday so I’m going to have to be very careful.
Good luck everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Hello everyone,
There are some good losses rolling in. Congrats Mary for SOTW, and well done to others.
B-e-g, that must have been a tough week for you having to put on weight!:rotfl:How are you finding being at target?
Lois - there is nothing so "edible," then a new born babe, if you get my meaning. I love the smell of them, and how soft and scrungible (my word:o) their skin is. It brings back lovely memories. I bet you couldn't wait to have a hold, hope mum and baby are doing well? Are you going to be Nana, Gran/Granny?
I go on/off the SW quiche, and I thing a stock cube might be an idea. I always pre-cook any veg in the microwave as I'm not overly keen on undercooked onions etc.
Off to my mums today, and we are heading out for lunch, totally off plan as going to Chez Freds in Bournemouth for fish and chips:D. Mum and I are going away for a week in the sun, so I will try and do the best I can. She is following SW too, but it is the cava I shall have to be careful with.
Oh yes, the main reason for checking in -1lb loss please Shala, thanks for the chart.
Have a good week everyone.

In bad form today, got another flat tyre:mad::mad::mad:
Here is the recipe for the Mac and Cheese below. Goes with the chilli
Stir leftover chilli into mac-and-cheese and serve with a big salad.
By making a few simple changes you can still indulge in your favourite creamy pasta dishes like macaroni cheese. Completely cheesy, sensationally low-Syn.
ingredients- 300g dried macaroni
- Low calorie cooking spray
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 roasted red pepper in brine from a jar, finely chopped
- 1 courgette, coarsely grated
- 400ml vegetable stock
- 4 tbsp tomato pur!e
- 200g low-fat natural cottage cheese
- 1 tsp English mustard powder mixed with 1 tsp water
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 160g reduced-fat Cheddar coarsely grated
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- A salad of mixed leaves and thinly sliced yellow peppers, to serve
- Preheat your over to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas 6. Cook the macaroni according to the packet instructions, then drain well and tip into a wide mixing bowl.
- Meanwhile, place a large frying pan sprayed with low cooking spray over a high heat. Add the onion, garlic, red pepper and courgette, and cook, stirring for 2-3 minutes. Add to the macaroni.
- Put the stock, tomato pur!e, cottage cheese, mustard and eggs in a jug and whisk until smooth. Pour this over the macaroni mixture, then stir in three-quarters of the Cheddar. Season and toss well.
- Transfer to a shallow, ovenproof dish. Sprinkle over the remaining Cheddar and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbling and golden. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then serve with the salad.

Well done Mary Hinge, you're going gangbusters!:T Well done to slowly fading too - SOTW two weeks in a row is fab. I thought I was on for it last week in class when I lost 4.5lbs but some [STRIKE]b*gger[/STRIKE] dedicated slimmer lost 5lbs and beat me to it :rotfl:
And well done to all the losers, all this good news has given me a bit of a push to get on with it!
A STS for me please Shala (and thank you for the chart). I didn't stick to plan and combined with being "hormonal" I was lucky not to record a gain. I'll be all over it this week as a 2lb loss will get me down into the next stone bracket.0 -
Forgot to mention my eatings today!
B: Heb Sandwich Thin, 3 Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese (Hea) & 2 Boiled Eggs (I love this, I could eat for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner)
L: Chickpea & bacon salad, (Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber, Peppers) & SpicesI think Chilli in a lettuce boat with rest of Hea Cheese, jalepenos and extra pickles
Snacks: Free yogurt, Nectarine, Peach, Pear, Plum
I can't wait to get weigh in on thurs over with and get on with next week as this week isn't going to change very much on the scales due to hormones and my digestive system playing up.0
