I made a SW red onion relish that my consultant made last weekend and shared on FB. Sadly, I took my eye off it for a teeny bit too long and it's [STRIKE]burnt[/STRIKE] slightly more caramelised than I ended but it still tastes great! Had it o the side with a salad and a minted lamb burger (2 1/2 syns) with my cheese as a HexA. Ruddy gorgeous!0

Hi All,
Welcome back Maman, DH and other Welsh contingent are still basking in the well deserved glory....bring on Portugal!!

Ok so manic weekend finally over!
Friday night: braised beef rib served with 4 huge chips and 1 tbsp. of veg puree (swede I think maybe) and a little bit of jus/weak gravy followed by a chocolate fondant with 1 tbsp. orange sorbet. Not overly sure how to all syn that! three glasses of orange juice as I was driving (almost 15 syns in itself which is crazy but I couldn't face water) - 6 syns earlier in the day for a biscuit
yesterday: chicken makhani approx. 20 syns, peshwari naan 25 syn, 2 popadoms 8 syn and a glass of rose, barman didn't use a measure but they only do 125 and 175mlglassess and it must have been a large on. 12.5% from what I can see online so I'll say 7 syn there. a whopping 60 syns just last night but I went out saying I would flexi for the day as I don't get to enjoy indian food at home as OH can't stand it
tomorrow I'm going to make some syn free cottage pies for easy teas/late nights. other meals for me this week:
sausage salad/with mash (0.5syn for 2 asda reduced fat sausages)
leek and potato soup (syn free)
gammon with salad/small jacket potato
omelette bites and spinach for breakfasts, tuna salads for lunches with fruit salads etc as snacks
we are going to the caravan again next weekend. I think I will prepare a lasagne for the Saturday night. will take lots of low syn/free snacks for at the auctions as last time chocolate bar and bacon sandwiches caught me.
nice thing though; didn't realise my car insurance was a direct debit over 11 months not 12 so that's some extra money I *should* be able to save this month************************************

At least you've been honest with yourself and know how many syns. I think that's better than just saying, "Oh I'm going to take the day off" and then not actually pay any attention to the value of anything.0

Sometimes I don't get how I've lost nearly 3 stones on this plan, eating how I do. It definitely can't be called a diet. Last night I had steak, (actifry) chips, mushrooms and salad.
Today I've had:
Brunch (is it still brunch if you don't get up until 1 pm :rotfl: ): Bacon, fried eggs, beans, mushrooms, plum tomato
Mid-afternoon snack: Apple, pear
Dinner: Roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings (2.5 syns each), carrots, cabbage, proper gravy.
About to have a couple of satsumas because my mouth is a bit bored.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars
I'm hoping to get a lb off this week as that would take me to my three stone, and then I'm off on holiday on Saturday. I'm going to Cologne so while there will be lots of off-plan food and drink, I'll be doing a lot more walking than normal, so hopefully it won't be too bad a gain the week after.
I'm finding the journal really helps. It's a nice size, and I can fit a reasonable amount in each section (rather than the paper diaries where you need to write in such small sections if you have lots of speed/free foods). I also like the bits at the end of each week (and my balloons are slowly but surely being coloured in!)We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

I love the diary. It's so much better than the individual weekly diaries. I really hope that they keep them permanently, maybe with seasonal varieties.0

Morning all
Happy to report in with the result of this week's weigh in with a loss of 2lb!:j That's a total weightloss of 45lbs.Providing my bodily fluctuations don't go haywire between now and WI at class on Wednesday evening, I should be in the next stone bracket there too.
My class are having a party to celebrate the target members this week, combined with a taster session. I'm thinking of taking what I call 'fruit kebabs' which is basically half a strawberry, a melon ball and a segment of orange on a cocktail stick. I made some for a buffet in Spain and they were really popular with everyone.lushlifesaver wrote: »nice thing though; didn't realise my car insurance was a direct debit over 11 months not 12 so that's some extra money I *should* be able to save this month
I love things like that. We used to pay our water rates and council tax over 10 months so we had a payment holiday for 2 months of the year and I used to plan what to with the bonus. Thanks beanie. Now I must get to Aldi ASAP!!:)Honeydew melons in the super 6 Maman
I wish we had Aldi nearer to us - the nearest one is in Plymouth city centre and at least 40 minutes drive away. I only tend to go there if I'm in town anyway. It's the same with Lidl, I live in an affluent part of Devon and I don't think the people who live here would allow one of 'those' type of shops! :rotfl: Waitrose would be more like it, but we haven't got one of those either.
I won't be online much (if at all) tomorrow - we're closing the shop for a day so we can go and see our new grandson. :happyhear We'll be driving for 4 hours, spend a few hours with the family, then driving back. I might be a bit tired on Wednesday morning.
Have a good week everyone, good luck with your weigh ins.

Welcome back Maman, yes good news for wales, enjoyed watching the match at the weekend! And of course they knocked Northern Ireland out so was pleased to see them progress.
Eating light now from weigh in on Thursday.
B: Heb Sandwich thin, Boiled Egg x 2, 3 Blue Cheese Laughing cow (Hea) Part One
L: Crabsticks, Peach, 2 x Pears, YogurtBNS, SP & Red Pepper Soup
Snacks: More fruit and lots of water today! The other 2 laughing cows from Hea.
Talking of soup, made Lentil and bacon soup over the weekend, forgot how much I loved it and it gave me an idea for a Beef and Lentil Stew when I have some room in the freezer.
Usual gin syns for me over the weekend, food was fairly on plan, odd bit of naughtiness. Need to crack on now and be super good see if I can get something of for Thursday.0 -

Morning all
Been awol for a few weeks but back on course now. Is it too late to join in the new challenge Shala?
If not, can I set myself 10lbs again please?
Was looking for the results of the last challenge to see how (badly) I did but can't find those......
Also could I register a 2lbs loss today please!
It's been a bit stop/start lately but my overall loss is currently 29.5lbs since Feb so I'm chuffed with that. I find SW relatively easy to return to, which is the key for me, after many faddy experiences in the past which were fine for a while but lost their sustainability once the novelty wore off!
Hope all are well0
