Morning all - well done you losers
I'm on it like a car bonnet today lol...I'm making sure to have 1/3 speed at every meal today (I know you're supposed to be doing that from the start but I don't think I've kept to it too well...so today...
B: Porridge made with almond milk (HE a&b) with blueberries and half a galia melon (so good!!)
L: home made quiche with bacon, courgettes, onions, tomatoes and eggs with a side salad and an applewhat we call one pot chicken...basically roast chicken legs (all fat and skin removed) with red onions, red peppers and garlic until nice and cooked through - with green beans, steamed veg and maybe some jersey royals
NO WINE!!
Food was on plan all weekend - drank my syns away (mostly anyway) so have to keep an eye on that the rest of the week.0 -
Hello everyone
Well I've behaved for 4 days, went over my syns once but doing flexi-synning so I'm still within my limit. Hopefully the scales will be kind to me this week as a rewardWell done all who have lost so far :T
Welcome back maman and morello
I bought a flan dish at the weekend so going to give syn free quiche a go for lunch today I think. Most of the recipes I can find call for cottage cheese which I'm really not a fan of so will substitute for quark and see how it goes. I like the ham & egg muffins on the SW website so hoping this is as good.
Have had overnight oats for breakfast with 3 speedy fruits so far, 2 cuppas and turkish delight muller with a narna for mid morning snack. All syn free so far.
Tea is a bit up in the air, we have plenty in the freezer I just need to have a look and see what I can rustle up
Heading out for some body magic in the sun in half an hour so I'd better get myself sorted
Have a good day everyone

I did SW quiche last week and found it a bit bland. I decided to leave out the ham as we were having it with a ham salad so maybe that made a difference. I wasn't keen on the cottage cheese either, there were lumps in it and it tasted of it. Good idea re using Quark Candyapple, that's worth trying too.

I had my quiche for lunch and I really enjoyed it. I didn't bother with any cottage cheese or quark and it cooked up nicely.
I had red onions, bacon medallions, courgette, tomatoes, 8 eggs and some chilli flakes (I also sprinkled in an oxo veg cube too and that made it quite savoury)
I have 3 more portions...hopefully I'll not hate it by Thursday!!0
