Thanks for the chart Shala, and well done to everyone on the challenge! :T

I fell well and truly off the wagon over the weekend. :o Meals are always reasonably good, but the chocolate and biscuits found me. Going back to basics for the next few days but fully expecting a hefty gain this week. Will keep an eye on the scales later in the week and may go to a different group if they're still up - my consultant openly shames gains, she's terrible!

    Plan today...
Breakfast - Weetabix, fruit and coffee (A/B)
Lunch - LM sausages and salad
Dinner - Speedy chilli and spinach

    Good morning everyone,

Pleased to have seen a 1 1/4lb loss this week please Shala.

Although I have had a loss this week, I think I'm going to take another look at the f/f yogs I'm eating. I eat at least one a day, and I put it with frozen berries as a pudding after my meal in the evening. In fact, I almost crave it and it must to do with the sugar/sweetner rush. I think that this is a factor in tipping the scales in the wrong direction, ie I am recording a loss but this is being super good for the rest of the week.

:T well done on your loss arkers.

Although I eat very little yogurt I find it more versatile to have a large tub of plain, fat free (Aldi) in the house in case I need it to make a dip or stir into a curry. DH has most of it on his muesli at breakfast. If I need something sweet (fortunately rare) then I like mixed berries with yogurt on top and a sprinkle of sweetener. Somehow mixing it all up and making it go pink makes me happy!:o If you have a really sweet tooth its worth buying in a tub of mini meringues to add to it. I think they're just 1 syn each.

Like you denise I sometimes end up with accidental SP days or meals. The same is true of Green. As we generally have very small portions of meat (last night shared 1 chicken breast with DH in a stir fry) then I could easily have had another HEA as I had a veggie lunch and breakfast.

I've had my SW breakfast (kippers and HEB bread) but off out to lunch soon. It's a French restaurant with set 2/3 course menus so portions likely to be smallish but synful. Then I'm unlikely to eat again today. Normal service resumed tomorrow.;)

If find this absolutely disgusting june . She needs reporting. Doesn't she realise that it will probably be having a negative effect on her members. Definitely look for a different group. Good luck. :)

How did you arrive at the target jock? That's for you to decide. Some of the height/weight charts can be useful but others choose a clothes size or what looks/feels right. You can call/reset your target whenever you want. What's your plan this time?

I had a notional target of 12st 7lb which would put me at a BMI of 22.5, I called target at 13st because I couldn't be bothered anymore.

I was getting very tired of the group to be honest, just going every week and wanted a break so called target. I was going to keep getting weighed but just wasn't feeling it anymore. I'm going to try again and get to a more sensible target I think and try and stay there.

Mullerlights and other brands being free - I agree that they're paid to make them free, however I would add that my sin values in my book says "or supermarket equivalent" for most things, which contradicts the website syn values.

However I've always gone with the "or supermarket equivalent" of things like Mullerlights.

Muller lights are 12 for £3 in ASDA at the moment which is a great price and you get to pick your flavours!

My consultant claims its the newer consultants who are more like this, obsessed with stats, etc. There is a woman in my group who'd been coming for 4 years and had lost about 6lbs in total, think she just enjoyed the sociability of it.

We have two in our area, mine and another one. Other one isn't very nice at all, but is dead aggressive with her marketing.

Anyway it's my first weigh in tonight, I'm hoping I've done OK! This time round I've not looked at the scales once, since they're out of batteries. i used to weigh myself constantly.

I reimagined one of my mums recipes for SW using leftover turkey.

Decent slice of turkey, nice and thick (or a chicken breast), give it a good soak of chicken stock (as it's quite dry)
    Cover it in ham
Cover it in as much Mozarrella as your HEA or syns allow, but to be honest I only stuck about 35g on mine which was less than the HEA.
Put some more chicken stock on top and some in the tray
Cook on about 190 (or whatever SW chips are) for about 10 minutes

Really nice and something different to do with leftover Turkey, someone mentioned something called a Meatza which sounded gross, but this was an improved version.

We got a cheap turkey crown at Christmas and froze it, there is loads of meat less, we got sick of it and froze the rest!

I think we are lucky at our group jock - our consultant is just 30 (that's young by my standards :p) and has only been a consultant for two years and she's absolutely brilliant. Her support is spot on. It's such a shame that classes can vary so much.

I could be become that woman :rotfl::rotfl:

Finally got round to boots about 6 weeks later and got my body fat done again. Down 2 % from the last time, so that's good. Given me a little more motivation and spurring me on to progress in the gym

That's terrible. I think if my consultant openly shamed people about a gain I wouldn't have stayed at group for very long.

If it was like that at my group I would have reported her to head office. It's definitely not the SW official way.

Thing is, if she's happy to keep paying the fee each week why shouldn't she keep going? They say that loneliness is as much of a health risk as smoking. It's things like this that should be taken on board as well instead of it all 'being about the weight loss'.
