Hi all, I've dug out an ancient laptop - think more stone tablet! Well done losers.
I can't believe that I've lost another 1.8lbs; can't remember when last I lost in consecutive weeks. That's just typical when I've decided not to join the challenge - but I'll still stay out of the way in case I jinx it!

I watched your game yesterday, maman - it was brill! Everytime they showed a crowd shot, I wondered if I was looking at you - at least, I did when there was a woman in the frame, lol.

Yes, Lois, I expect to get it sorted out BUT I can only find the credit card slip which doesn't detail the purchase, plus I used Tesco vouchers for half of it so even the slip I have doesn't reflect the actual cost. I am hoping Tesco will have the details and will acknowledge the transaction. I have the proper receipts for this laptop, the previous one and also for the ancient PC (c 1997)!

    Have a good day, everyone.

    Congratulations orlao on SOTW :T

Well done everyone who took apart in the last challenge - an amazing total loss :T:T:T. Thanks shala for all the hard work you put into producing our chart and being keeper of the numbers :A.

Well I have been to SW class tonight and reporting in with a 0.5lb loss this week. I know I'm standing down from this challenge but thought if I reported my result it is giving me a bit of accountability :D.

Good luck with the new challenge everyone.

Evening all, hope you enjoyed the long weekend :) Weighed in this evening with a 0.5lb loss - bit annoying since I had 4 days on EESP this week, but better than nothing. Had a similarly disappointing result last time I tried some SP days, so wondering if it just doesn't agree with me much for some reason. By way of experiment I'm going to try an EE veggie week this week, just to see how that goes.

Glad to read I'm not the only one sceptical about why muller are one of the only free yoghurts! I've tried to cut back on these recently too - when I first started SW I was eating them a fair bit, but when my weight loss stalled I decided the amount of sugar in them probably wasn't great for me. I now try and keep yoghurts as a treat rather than a regular part of my eating plan, and try to go for smaller pots as well.

Welcome to all the new joiners, thank you shala for the chart, and congrats orlao on SOTW!!

I have the same problem Rebster when I do SP days so I don't really plan any although occasionally I may have one although accidentally, ie I realise once I look at what I've planned for a particular day!

Well done Orlao on SOTW! and well done to everyone else who took part in the challenge - that was a huge loss between you all.

    Back to EE today:

    B - bacon omelette
L - sweet potato & pepper soup; 1 slice of crustless bread (part HEB)
D - lamb chop, roast potatoes, peppers & onions, mixed veg & mashed celeriac, splash of gravy
    S - toast, butter & marmite (2 syns)

    HEA - milk as usual
    HEB - bread
Syns (so far) - butter 2; gravy 1

    Good morning everyone,

Pleased to have seen a 1 1/4lb loss this week please Shala. Well done Orlao for SOTW. Welcome to all the new slimmers, good luck with your journey.:D

Although I have had a loss this week, I think I'm going to take another look at the f/f yogs I'm eating. I eat at least one a day, and I put it with frozen berries as a pudding after my meal in the evening. In fact, I almost crave it and it must to do with the sugar/sweetner rush. I think that this is a factor in tipping the scales in the wrong direction, ie I am recording a loss but this is being super good for the rest of the week.

Goldfinch - I have issues with arthritis, my left hip is on the way out, and I have just had a joint fusion operation on my foot. For me like you I try to keep moving, and since losing a bit of weight this has become easier. Do you swim? I think for those with creaky joints this is by far the kindest exercise. It's my first week back at the gym and swimming is at the top of the list for my rehab.

Thanks for the chart Shala, I hope your back in the swing of things. How do you feel that your DH is going to class with you? Does this help with the meal planning? My DH is like a Japanese racing snake very slim, If I ate what he does I'd be back to stage one.

    Have a good week - Arkers x

Oh to be a Japanese Racing Snake Arkers!

Not much happening here, on plan yesterday and on plan today. Trying to redeem myself for the week naughtiness.

oh I know Maman just can't bring myself to stay on the straight and narrow the whole time etc. I've done it before and I know the results it can bring but just can't bring myself to do it and find the right balance with it all at the mo.

Anyway gym tonight. least I've got the exercise side of things going well and progressing.
