    Hello Everyone,

Have been MIA over the last week or so, we were away for the weekend again, and although not too bad (except gin syns) I have a -1lb to lose to put me exactly on target, but still within range. I am going away with my mum for a week somewhere hot, so that should be nice. I intend to catch up with her, and read books, so I have just over a week to get back on it, and then try and temper the gin and fizz!

I would like to try for 2lbs for the next challenge Shala, this will bring me to the lower end of the target so that when I'm away with the family in August then I can relax a bit more.

Fantastic news on the pay rise Lantanna and Top Girl I'm glad your family will stay together. Shala I love crepes and that type of thing, my mouth is watering at the thought.

Have a good week everyone, I'll weigh tomorrow.

  • Scan Bran challenge day one lol(I keep calling it ScranBran...don't know why lol!!) for me I quite like the flavour...it is like a ryvita on steroids...kinda tastes like branflakes which I do like but JEEPERS!! It's hard to eat lol!! My jaw was sore when I finished (and I only had 4 instead of 5. I just had mine straight (hard core lol) with my 6 Laughing Cow extra light and I quite enjoyed them...that was my lunch.

I also had my 2 L of water and a coupla cups of tea today...you have to drink a lot when you're on this so that things don't- ahem - bind up lol. I thought I'd be all windy but no adverse affects so far. Not sure what the morning holds!! *help*

I think I ate a lot less today though cos they really filled me up - along with all the water!!

(oh on a side note I had those new Danone light and free yogurts today and they are delish!! a good bit smaller than the ML yogurts but they feel really indulgent and taste like a pudding instead of a diet yogurt. And free...would recommend)

Thank you. Hate to be a trouble maker lol.

Just found out that a family friend has had a heart attack and a cardiac arrest and has been rushed to hospital! That family are goi g through the mist awful time at the moment - their daughter had spinal surgery 2 years ago and has been left with severe neuropathic pain. She's basically lost the last 2 years of her life and now this. He only turned 61 last week.
It's all just bad news wherever I look. I think I'm going to try and stay away from the news and Facebook (okay, I'll fail with that one) for a while.
Why isn't there a good news channel?

Sorry to be a downer. Just needed to vent. I'm going to go and look at pictures of kittens...
