I enjoyed Me Before You, but haven't read the book so nothing to compare it to. I liked the female lead, she was quirky and funny - I didn't notice her eyebrows! There were several similarities to Pretty Woman but I think it would have been hard to avoid having any, given rich boy/poor girl storyline.

Might go to the cinema tomorrow - anyone seen Mothers Day? Any good?

Great news re pay rise Lantanna, commiserations for the football.

Good luck with the scan bran gfb.. _pale_

You definitely should read the book, I really loved it. She just wasn't right for me in the role. Funny how we all take to people differently. However I did enjoy Brax from Home & Away being in it! ;)

There is a follow up book too, Me after You. I've not read it yet though.

    Sorry, me again!

I am sure that when I first logged into SW online there was a calculator you could use that showed how quickly you could get to goal if you opted for a slow loss (say one pound) a recommended loss (two pounds) or a quick loss (3+ pounds and this one came with a warning saying it wasn't recommended). So you'd put in your target weight and how much you thought you could lose each week and it would give you an at-target date.

I can't find it anywhere on the SW website so I'm wondering if it was there and has gone or if I was on some other site altogether!!

Anyone got any ideas on where I might find it please? I found it really motivating to play with different weekly weight losses and end dates. :)

8lb for the new challenge please Shala and reporting 1.5lb off today

Almost back to where I was before holiday :) quite surprised to lose so much this week as I've had a sore foot so been a lot less active. Started a new 8 week exercise challenge with fitness blender. Day 1 was a fitness test so not too bad and day 2 today was tough but bearable. Suspect I may be sore tomorrow.

Don't quite know how this happened but I've lost 3lb this week :eek:
Absolutely thrilled with that and have discovered that my scales are the same as the WI scales. My mum joined SW tonight. She's been on steroids for about a year (for the second time) and bless her she's gained a lot of weight. She's only 5ft as well, so it hasn't got much space to sit on either. So, she's started and we're going to go together which is lovely. We get on so well, it's like going with a friend.
I only need 2lbs to reach my stone award and I think Club 10, but that might be a lb or more away.
I've decided to buy the Best Loved Extra Easy book and mum's going to get it too as well as the Fakeaway one which we will probably share.

Also, only 7lbs away from goal now. And to think I felt really fat and flabby. How bizarre!

I think sometimes when you've read a book first you've already imagined the characters so when they don't cast someone like you've imagined it's hard to get your head round it. I didn't envisage Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey either so that ruined that one too *ahem* not that I've read those filthy books or dirty film ;)

I loved him as the serial killer in The Fall though.

Great losses and great targets being set :T:T

Bettyboof - scanbran is like Ryvita but Ryvita that the devil would eat. High fibre crackers... people make it in to cakes and muffins etc..

Chart time - last chart of this challenge!

    SOTW* is.... :T:j:TMARY HINGE:T:j:T with a loss of 3.0lbs!!

    Congratulations!

    :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

*SOTW is the person who has lost the most weight this week, but also had a loss or sts last week.
