thank lantanna, I'd struggle with 2 heb. I'd just be having the second for the sake of it!

I'm going to make some pulled pork in the slow cooker (pork shoulder, bbq beans which are free, onions and peppers...a lazy version stolen from someone at group!) I think that would count and I could have it on lettuce wraps with more veggies on the side. same goes for normal chile I would think (protein from meat & kidney beans)- although would serve with free cottage cheese or quark to up the protein that little bit more.

really struggling this week after 3.5 days not really on plan. My head needs a wobble - I could cry with frustration at my weight not moving but at the same time I know I don't deserve anything amazing at the moment weight loss wise! How apt that George Michael 'you gotta have faith' just came on the radio as I typed that!

I'm going to make some baked omelette bites tonight which I cook tea (eggs, pepper and mushroom maybe some tomato ones too) which I'll have for breakfast tomorrow with spinach. lunch will be a ham salad followed by fruit. not sure on tea yet

Thursday is weigh day. current plan: fruit (melon, strawberries) and quark for breakfast and a tuna salad for lunch. tea after weigh in

Friday: more baked omelette bites and spinach for breakfast, homemade soup and a sandwich for lunch (heb bread roll) but I'm at an evening event which includes a three course meal with work so that will be off the syn charts (no wine as I'm driving) then Saturday I'm out for a club meal with OH team he coaches and that's an indian. I'm going to flexi syn for that as I don't often get indian meals os OH won't event try them and hates the smell or so he says. so I'll relax and enjoy the night with friends then straight back on it

OH never wanted baclofen as so many people said they dislike it. My friend has a pump but he's a spinal and can't feel below mid chest it was more a control/visual thing for him (awful lot of leg spasms) rather than pain though. OH refuses to take painkillers as he has so little sensation below the waist hes learnt to block out his usual pain levels so can only tell if it changes and likes to have that little sensation so he knows when to get things checked...or so he says. lots more pain recently for him though - he sees his specialist again next tuesday

Glad you enjoyed it Beanie! lol

Lush that's exactly how I feel, beyond frustrated with it but just can't get committed to losing. I'm having an Indian this week as well on thurs. I will just have it and write it off, its after weigh in on thurs anyway.

Lets keep plodding. I took diazepam for most of last year Beanie during my troubles, I found it to be effective for what I was prescribed it for and had no problem stopping it. In fact I just decided myself to stop it and did as I was a bit worried about it being addictive. Mine was the lowest dose 2mg.

Oh Shala I have both those Jo Jo Moyes books in the house but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. Must do that soon!

Thanks for the support guys - didn't want to hijack the thread but you know when you just need to get something off your chest? He made it through the night and he's now been transferred to a larger hospital in Stoke. His condition is still critical though. Fingers crossed he pulls through.

I had to go to Birmingham for a training session today. Went to Boots and bought a sushi rice salad for 1 1/2 syns and a Muller yogurt and had that with the strawberries I took with me so I feel very virtuous today. Think I'm going to have lamb burgers for my dinner tonight. Can't remember how many syns they were but I remember checking and they weren't high.

Hello all, some great losses and hugs to those who didn't lose.

    MrsP

Fingers crossed for your friend, he must be a strong man to have survived the first heart attack so lets hope that strength keeps him going IYSWIM

a measly .5lb off this week but I did have a lush chinese on Saturday night :p

Could I have 12lbs for the next challenge please Shala - yes I know, probably wildly optimistic but that would bring me to target a year and two weeks after starting SW and have me 5.5 stone lighter than I was this time last year. Nearly a third less of me now :D

Not MSE but a NSV. The size 14s that I bought a few weeks ago are now to loose around the waist and need a belt to keep them up. 14 is the smallest I've been since my mid teens (and that was a fair few years ago shall we say:eek:)

I only wish I'd got my head and rather substantial @rse into gear years ago rather than spending two decades being the 'fat bird' and all that goes with it.

    Congratulations losers :D

    On plan day today:

B - Mushroom omelette and tinned tomatoes

D - Ham and egg salad, apple, ryvita minis (HEXB)

T - Top Bloke making a stir fry of lean beef and vegetables with rice, some leftover chorizo going in but I've had no other syns today and there's not loads so I'm not sweating it :)

Loads of body magic as I ran all over the city looking for an open pet shop to buy Top Dog a lead as he managed to break his yesterday.

Syns - chorizo and a chocolate orange options later with some HEXA milk

    Feeling good about this challenge.

Do we weigh in on Monday?

Readers of chick lit, I'm a big fan of Lucy Diamond and Melissa Hill. Both a bit different (IMO) and very readable.

I had a go at writing one myself for NANOWRIMO last year. It went okay but I'm looking forward to another bash this year!
