Really bad week for me 5.5lbs on. Was away with work and then had a meal out, and really I couldn't be faffed with it most of the week. Had a good day yesterday though and hoping to pull it back this week!0

Don't worry Jocks I'm getting a whopper gain this week as well.
Anyway we can do this.
Winter has totally returned here!
Fell asleep last night at 6.30 on the settee
Just so tired this week, can't wait for the weekend to arrive. Still craving soup, wonder if I am coming down with something.
Had a little laugh at Top Dog breaking his lead Top Girl.
Had Branflakes, banana and hea almond milk this morning that is as far as I have got.0 -
Morning all
DS just texted to say that DIL was first on the list for her C-section today and she's just gone down to theatre. My stomach is doing cartwheels for them.
Yesterday we heard that a friend had lost his battle with cancer - he's about my age, and was still working until he became too ill. Funny how life deals you sadness and happiness at the same time.
It's the sort of day that might lead me to comfort eating but the thought of WI at class tonight is keeping me on track. I'm really hoping for a loss as that will take me into the next stone bracket and I seem to have been hovering on the brink for weeks.
Jocko - having a job where I worked away a lot was my undoing after getting to target before. I used to plan ahead, take as much food with me as I could and try to avoid eating off plan, but it always turned out to be impossible. Good luck with the coming week, you'll soon be back where you are.
Welcome back Greentiger. I love chicken fajitas, it's a shame they're not SW friendly as it always seems like a good way to eat lots of speed. When we have them I have one tortilla and then use little gem lettuce leaves as wraps - I think it was Shala who gave me that idea.
Tete - sorry, I'm sure it's not funny for you as the cat's owner (or the cat), but I did laugh at the idea of a cat with IBS! How do they diagnose it? Just imagining the cat explaining to the vet about flatulence, bloat etc... :rotfl:
Wizkid - I discovered lemon and ginger tea at a SW class and I absolutely love it. I have one first thing in the morning and it just feels like it's doing good for my digestive system. I have 1 or 2 during the day and 1 in the evening, and I'm definitely sleeping better, probably because I'm having less caffeine.
I think I'll go and put the kettle on and have one now - it might settle the butterflies that are doing somersaults in my stomach at the moment!
Have a great day.

L: ScanBran and 6 LC cheese trianglespork chops, jersey royals, asparagus, broccoli, carrots and green beans...was yum!!
Today...

Hello, I'm trying to see if there is a good option at Pizza Express and can't see there is.
In the past pre SW I'd just have a main the Gairdinaerra (spelt wrong) pizza and I took my soya cheese to be added - I'm guessing that's about 35 syns but can't find it listed.
No listing for a superfood salad and that doesn't say vegan so presuming egg in the dressing part.
Don't suppose they do kids size pizza for adults so not sure I can eat out there but a pain as only place my friend who's coeliac and dairy/soya free can eat.
So a gluten free pizza with veggies and vegan cheese would be about 35 syns? Sounds so high that - can't even have the side salad there as they put beetroot in and hate that!
I'll feel awful, sat there just having a drink! Looks like I'd have to save up syns to go there and don't like doing that.
Anyone got any tips for being on SW at Pizza Express (when you are vegan!) none of the lighter options are listed as vegan but wonder if they would adapt anything. Wish pizza wasn't so high syn!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Hey Alison if you visit this site https://www.pizzaexpress.com/~/media/files/pdfs/nutritionals/pex_allergens-our-food.ashx
It's a grid of all allergen information and tells you what ingredients are vegan friendly. It might be a bit of hard work and cross checking but it will give you k owledge if what you can have.
I'm pretty sure that they'd be okay to make some changes to recipes. They're very proud of their inclusive status for people with coeliac disease so I would have thought that they'd be on board with flexibility0 -
Thanks to all for your kind words re Top Bloke. Co-habiting with someone who is naturally thin is proving interesting
Watch this space.
Tete en l'Air - now is the time to start playing round with ideas if you do fancy it. I've had an idea but don't think I could do it in 50k so it'll have to be my bestseller
Determined to have a good day today, despite the weather:Mushroom omelette and plum tomatoes
D) Crabstick salad, mugshot, apple
T) Roast chicken and either new potatoes and salad (with buttered baguette for Top Bloke and Top Boy) or SW roast potatoes, vegetables and SW onion gravy. Depends if the weather picks up.
