Evening all. Thanks for the chart Shala :) Think this is the first time I've actually achieved my challenge target! For next challenge would like to go for 6lb loss please. Was originally going to aim for sts but want to lose a bit more before I'm at a happy target I think. Will be back later with my first weigh in for the new challenge.

Ok what I've decided is to leave this week's entry blank on the chart and set a target of 7lbs please shala. Hope that's ok.

I have been getting really discouraged as I have been putting on weight over the last few weeks while I was without a kitchen.

Last week on weigh in I optimistically said I hoped to do better as I now had a kitchen. I weighed in last night feeling as if I might have lost a couple of pounds - I lost six pounds!!!!

I know from past experience I can't get complacent and don't want to keep seesawing every week so am planning on making a SW quiche to snack on ,make sure fruit and veg are speed as much as possible, and make large portions of SW meals and freeze them so I don't put the weight back on and keep on track till it becomes automatic.

Is next week the first week of the challenge Shala?

I'm getting an epic gain tonight, I've been on my scales and seen it!

Anyway onwards and upwards, going to buy a countdown - keep me on track.

Ugh, full of cold. I'd put it down to hayfever but I've a sore throat and a woolly head this morning too :(

A couple of nice quiet admin days at work are in order.

    B) Mushroom omelette and plum tomatoes

    D) Chicken tikka salad, mug shot, apple

    T) Roast chicken with either chips and salad or mashed potatoes and vegetables. Didn't fancy it last night so had some bachelors savoury rice and melon instead.

    BM - Staying upright :D

    HEXA - Milk in tea
    HEXB - 2 Alpen lights

Syns - Not sure yet. I have some dominion sweets from Aldi I will suck to try and ease my throat. Maybe an options later.

I'll be having an effervescent vitamin C with each meal, not sure if they're meant to be synned but I refuse to syn medicines so these won't be :D

    Hope everyone is ok.

I noticed someone posted earlier about doing SP....I get the gist of it, but information I've had seems to be contradictory. The consultant doesn't seem to explain it very well, she's said that you can't have yoghurts, but if you want them you can syn them. I'm not sure how you can do that if it's free in the first place.

I can't seem to live without yoghurts and I've asked what I can have instead, I just get the answer as "syns". What can you use instead in your overnight oats, as I love that?

    Thanks in advance.

The way I look at it is there's no free food on SP so you can't have a syn free yogurt but you can have one that's not free as long as you count the syns. There are some yogurts that are fat free but not syn free - like this one: Yeo Valley Organic Greek Style Bio Live Yogurt 0% Fat Vanilla (450g pot) which is 5.5 syns for the whole pot. If you use a quarter for your overnight oats it's only about 1.5 syns (and it's really nice).

    morning all,

breakfast: baked omelette bites with spinach and some baked beans. cup of peppermint tea
snack: roast pepper slices with 1 tbsp. free cottage cheese, vimto zero. rich tea finger (1)
    lunch: roast chicken mugshot (1)
tea: I have a big vat of lazy bbq pulled pork (made with bbq beans rather than a sauce hehe) in the slow cooker at home. I will have my heb wholemeal roll with a big helping of that (since its free) with a salad after I get weighed.

Can't stay at group today as I'm getting some party lashes at 8.30 - getting them as I want to trial them for the wedding but also because I have an event to be at tomorrow night and Saturday night and I can't be bothered faffing with strip lashes for a change!
