Shala lost 1lb this week sorry it's not red and bold I am late with my posting but I have only just got back home ,we have been out for the day and evening.
Put me down for 10 again please hope everyone has done well big hugs all round0 -
Morning everyone, hope you're all well.
Monday comes round far too quick.
Yesterday we had a lovely turkey dinner. There was some leftover turkey, so made a quick curry with it and had that for my tea last night. We used the Mayflower chinese curry sauce from Farmfoods - has anyone tried this? Just used the one sachet - it's 11 syns, but me and hubby shared it between us. If you add plenty of other stuff to it as well it's really nice.
Went out on Saturday night to see a Neil Diamond tribute act, he was really good. Had 3 x lager and blacks and the rest of the time had diet coke.
If I don't post before the weekend, hope everyone has a good week. xStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
Morning all! Great news Top Girl!
This is probably completely unrealistic given my previous non-efforts, but my holiday is now 14 weeks away so I need to stop fannying about. I'd like to hit the 11st mark by the end of this challenge which means a target of 18.5lbs, or just over 2lbs a week. Thanks Shala x
Another mega busy week for mebut I do have quite a healthy freezer full of leftovers so that's good. Going to roast some veggies for quinoa/veg packed lunches.
Today's plan is:
B - Yoghurt and passionfruit
D - Bacon, fried tinned new pots, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes
T - Veg curry with couscous
I'm sure someone asked about books not too long back but can't see it now - anyway, I've already made a couple of things from the One Pot book and liking it. I love one-pot stuff as it's usually a case of 'bang it all in and heat it up', and less washing up of course too!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Scanbran challenge starts today...the challenge is to eat 5 scanbrans a day for 5 days as your HEb and at least 2 liters of water...girls in our class have had brilliant results with it...I suspect it just means you poop a lot - time will tell lol0

I'm going for an ambitious 1o for the next challenge please Shala.
Foodwise I wasn't too bad over the weekend, enjoyed my gin with the football on Saturday, was very proud of Northern Ireland, how they played and how both the team and the fans conducted themselves.
Went to Nandos yesterday. I had chips with my chicken, but its only one meal and I really fancied them.
Back on it today. Really really bored with it all now, just need to get my head down and lose.
Definitely not feeling as hungry now I've had my coil out. No more hormones for me, I gained a lot with the injection and found it impossible to lose on different pills as well so I'm hopeful I will start to lose again once it wears off.
Went to see Me Before you in the cinema yesterday, not a patch on the book but then they never are. Couldn't take to the girl in it so it wasn't believable for me, whereas my friend sat and cried her eyes out lol.
My freezer is rammed full again : ( That needs sorting as well. Must get more organised.
In other news I got a good pay rise 12 %. Makes up a bit for not getting the job I went for.
Is it the weekend yet?0 -
:T:T:T lantanna... nice pay rise. I really want to see Me Before You but I'm not keen on the actress either, her eyebrows are too expressive for me :rotfl: not sure I can watch anything else but them!
Good news Topgirl :T

Hi everyone
Sorry I've been a bit awol recently - fell off the wagon againnnn I'm sure everyone's sick of reading that I'm certainly sick of saying itbut I'm behaving now. So I'd like to go for 9 lbs for next challenge please shala that'll take me to the middle of the 10s and it's the weight I was back in January (and the lowest weight I've been for years). My holiday is right when the challenge ends so if I can hit that target I'll be over the moon.
I've never had scan bran but I've seen lots of cake type recipes using it on instagram, so good luck for the challenge gfb it sounds interesting
Today's food:
B - overnight grapenuts with 2 aldi greek yogs (1 syn) and a nectarine
L - jacket potato with lurpak and a bit of grated cheese and a ton of salad
T - I'm not sure yet we're all stocked up so it's a matter of seeing what I fancy later
Hope everyone's well, have a good Monday (if such a thing exists!)0
