  • Hello all - flying visit...checking in with a 1/2 lb loss

Getting a bit fed up with 1/2 lb and 1 lb losses...a girl I know literally binged last weekend and lost 4 lbs!! Ah well - a loss is a loss and I've not gained since I started...14.5 off...my DD and I are going to try the scranbran challenge this week to see if that makes any difference...and count my weekend wine which I haven't actually been doing...onwards...

All those 0.5lb and 1lbs add up :D that lady may well struggle this week to loose or be over-exaggerating what she actually binged on..

Good luck with the scan bran _pale_ :p

When's cheesecake day? excitedly waiting for pictures...

Weird day here.. got nothing to do and no plan, just sitting around waiting for my next meal and watching the clock go by :rotfl:

    Menu plan for today
    B (late) - sausage sandwich (heb + 2.5syns)
L - fruit (apple, orange, strawbs) yogurt
T - kebabs, mint yogurt, onion salad, lettuce wraps, cheese (0.5 hea)
    S - crisps (4) milk (0.5 hea)

I've ordered some muller goodies (coconut ones), think they're 2.5 syns each so i'll have one of those later if they arrive...

    Have a good weekend xx

    Afternoon all

Lovely weather here - the sun is out. :D

Very quiet here again, the people who are away are obviously the biggest chatters. ;)

Yes, 2.5 syns is right. I've got some of the lemon ones in the fridge and last week I had the chocolate and toffee ones. I haven't seen coconut ones, let us know what they're like so I can decide whether to try them.

Well done gfb - every loss is worth having.

What's the scanbran challenge? I can't stand the stuff myself, so I won't be doing it, but others might be interested.

I'm another one guilty of not counting weekend wine syns - well not properly anyway. I keep my syns as low as possible all week knowing I'm going to have wine but I probably have more wine than I have enough banked syns for IYSWIM.

Yesterday I made a pan full of ratatouille which we had with salmon and couscous, then today I made some meatballs and added the leftover ratatouille and we had it with pasta for lunch (our main meal of the day today) - it was really nice.

It's fish and chip night again so we're open late and then we'll want something quick and easy. Not sure what it's going to be yet, possibly a bacon and tomato sandwich. I've got a couple of cooked BGTY sausages in the fridge too, so might add one of those, but definitely no black pudding! :rotfl:

    Have a good evening.

Just had it, it was nice.. the yogurt could probably be a bit more coconutty for me but then I do love coconut. I feel like I've had dessert now anyway so it did the job :D

Have you had your gin and tonic jelly yet?

I can't wait to try the new hifi bars too - coconut macaroon - what's not to like  well the size I suppose :rotfl: they'll be tiny like the others :(

No - I decided I wanted to replicate Not Nigella's jellies exactly so I've been looking for cocktail glasses, so far no joy, apart from some oversized ones in the Range that I considered :rotfl: but decided against as the syns wold be sky high.

I don't usually buy hifi bars as Hebs are too precious to waste, but I might reconsider for coconut macaroon - - I could always syn them.

  • So following this girl I talked about who had her binge and then lost 4 lbs this week (ok - please forgive me if I'm being a bit@h lol) so going through her insta page...she posts all her food, and her weight losses but if you look close enough you can see that she doesn't post any gains...and if I do the maths right our consultant announced her half stone today which means that if I'm correct she lost 4 lb this week then she must have gained 3 lb last week and didn't announce it...not cool...if you're going to post your journey...be honest.

SO RAGING about my cheesecake...I paid extra postage on getting that stevia icing *sugar* and it hasn't arrived yet...I totally wanted that cheesecake for a dessert tomorrow :'(

And thanks for the encouragement...any loss is good so I shouldn't complain. :)
