    Ninth Anniversary
    Hi everyone

Gorgeous day today, got my washing blowing away on the line.

Well done wiz for SOTW and congrats other losers :T
Also well done gfb on the lotto wins, that's more than we've won lately :D We tend to get 2 numbers a fair bit which is a free ticket now, not so bad

It took me ages to get my head around the eating plan slowlyfading and it always felt like I was eating too much, probably because I'd tried calorie counting for so long which is restrictive. Well done on the loss though, its going in the right direction which is good. Love that about SW no weighing and measuring the free foods

Today's food has been a bit all over the place for me

B - just a cup of tea as I slept late after an early morning shift
L - marmite on toast, a coffee and an apple
T - WW ready meal chicken curry bulked out with loads of salad

Syns today for lurpak, the WW meal and more than likely a mini calippo later if I need to cool down

Lots of squash being drunk today - Robinsons NAS lemon and mango flavour its delicious. Love the warmer weather for keeping me hydrated

    Have a good afternoon everyone
    xx

It was my first weigh in last night and was really nervous! Only lost 2lbs, but I suppose it's in the right direction?

Struggling a bit with getting my head around the plan; the consultant looked at my food diary and said I'm not eating enough? So got to try and eat more this week, which seems mad!

2lbs is a great start, well done. It takes a while to get to grips with the plan and to have the right foods in the house but once you have the basics in place the results will continue. Make sure you're counting your syns correctly, weighing/measuring your healthy extras, and eating plenty of speed foods, then you can fill up on all the free foods that are available.

Why not post your menus here and we can help you out.

Syns online says 1.5 for a Toblerone Tiny (6g), would that be about the same size?

I think that's my problem as well; I've been trying to calorie count for so long that it's strange not doing so!

Okay, so my meals have been:
Breakfast - 1 Alpen Light bar
Lunch - Salad with ham, strawberries, 1 x Alpen Light (Heb)
Tea - grilled spicy chicken with rice, kidney beans and sweetcorn.
    Snack - Malteasers bag - 9 1/2 syns

That's what I've eaten today - how does it look? :)

    Just my thought.

Agree with this and your consultant, you don't seem to be eating a lot, are you hungry at all?

Hope you don't mind the comments
Okay, so my meals have been:
Breakfast - 1 Alpen Light bar could you add some fruit to this as well? or are you not a breakfast person?
Lunch - Salad with ham, strawberries, 1 x Alpen Light (Heb) seems fine, hope your salad is a big one though ;)
Tea - grilled spicy chicken with rice, kidney beans and sweetcorn - no speed food for tea - could you add a salad or some veg to it?
    Snack - Malteasers bag - 9 1/2 syns

I don't see a HEA in your menu, do you use this in tea/coffee?

That's what I've eaten today - how does it look? :)

It is really hard to come out of calorie counting, but as long as you follow the third of your plate is speed food rule you should be naturally cutting calories..

    Hope this helps.
