My last day of posting before my holiday! The weather is absolutely horrible. Been raining all night; stopped for a while and now has started again and looks like it's in for the day.

Final load of washing in the machine but am going to have to tumble dry it - don't want to leave clothes on an airer for more than 3 months!

Not posting menu today as completely off plan and finishing up what I can and we're going out for F&C for lunch.

Looks as though the summer might be arriving this week according to the forecast! Hope you all have a good summer.

I'll be back early October!!! Will have a read when I can get free wifi but probably won't be posting.

We are in north Devon between Barnstaple and Bideford. Gorgeous place called Millbrook cottages.
Yesterday was much better. Think I only had 5 syns all day. I'm aiming for the same today. Might also try and go for a run later on once it stops raining

Have a fantastic holiday Denise! Three months away sounds wonderful.

I'm not going to class this week (booked it as holiday as I have a friend coming to stay and will be picking her up from the airport at class time) so I'll say this week is a STS.

    Morning

Still raining.... ...getting more than a little bit fed up with it now.

Also getting more than a little bit fed up with the scales - STS again this week. I've recorded every syn that passed my lips and I did use all 105 but I don't think I can use the maximum amount of points and still lose. I might try doing an SAS log on line because I know I've been doing some 'emotional' eating too, although still keeping to plan.

Hope the rain stops for you soon MrsP so you can enjoy your holiday and have a great time while you're away Denise. We used the free wifi in McDonalds when we were touring - they do pretty good coffee on the continent, which was all we used to buy!

    Have a good day everyone.

Still in a mood, trying to pull myself out of it. Theres no point in me even talking about what I've been eating other than to say I'm trying to redeem myself now and will be on the straight and narrow for a very long time .....................

Thanks for the encouragement. It is not just only having half a new kitchen but the fact that no one room is finished and comfortable and the boxes etc just keep doing musical chairs around the house.

If I can get new carpet in the living room and my bedroom later this week then that should help.

Builders don't arrive till eleven and waiting in for deliveries today so made a brunch of a bacon omelette and coffee. I have chicken for tonight and if I can pop out to get fresh mushrooms and onions then will try to cook something healthy for tonight and also to pack up in lidded cartons for tomorrow or to freeze.

Electrics, plumbing etc. have been so badly botched that everything takes twice as long or more to replace and make good.

  • Hi everyone, I hope you're all well

I've been veering off plan now and again for past week but hoping to draw a line and start again today

    Today's food:

B - HEB weetabix with HEA milk, satsuma and apple
L - egg wrap, bacon and tomatoes and probably a tin of spaghetti to bulk it out a bit
T - attempting the HB braised steak tonight as I've heard good things about it on here :D will do that with spuds and veg

    Have a lovely holiday denise

Hugs anyone that's struggling, I'll have Mother Nature visiting me this week  so I'm all teary and shouty and all over the place at the mo. But trying not to binge on rubbish and blame it on the hormones :)

    Have a good Monday everyone
    xx
