2nd weigh in and have lost 2lb this week:j

Pleased with that as now 9.5lbs in 2 weeks.

Couldn't stay for class as had been out since 7.30am and had to rush back for one of my hamsters who is basically dying - I need to be home by 6pm daily in case I need to go to the vets.

My letter from the council with my free vouchers said I must agree to stay each week for the group session, next week I may need to go to a different club or use one of my 2 weeks holiday. Once I finish work for summer I'm moving to the morning group so will be messing the voucher system about!

Hugs lush - can anything else go wrong :(. Take care of yourself x

    thanks beg

wrote a great post...the lost it!

    -1lb for me this week

    plan ahead:
*back to heb for breakfast (oats/Weetabix but try the different ways)
    *2 x 750ml bottle water a day at work
*reintroduce some carbs in meals - I've been avoieding them most days but this loss just shows that actually some carbs are good and needed. weeks when I have rice/bread/pasta I lose better so will have the odd portion

after pay day I am going to 'treat' myself to a stash of meat and am going to batch cook for the freezer giving myself more options. often I avoid cooking something separate other than a chicken or tuna salad as it's so much work for one portion. no excuse if they are in the freezer!

    ideas so far:
    spag bol (free)
    chile (free)
    lasagne (low syn)
    pulled pork (free)

hit me with your back cooking ideas; anything welcome but nothing too spicy!

Have decided on my plan for today - trying to use up as much stuff in the fridge & freezer before going on holiday on Tuesday morning - nearly empty now so more difficult putting plans together!

B - porridge, mixed frozen berries (HEB)
L - mushroom omlette, salad - lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, spring onions
D - duck breast, potatoes, green beans, peas, splash of gravy

    Morning all

I was expecting it to be nice this morning and I did a load of washing, planning to hang it out before work, but guess what, it's pouring. Nevertheless, DH has bravely gone off to meet his mate at the golf course, convinced the rain is going to stop soon, but as I'm now stuck in the shop until lunch time the washing will have to wait.

Lush - hope you have a better day today. You could add HB braised steak to your freezer list.

Lantana - sorry to hear you didn't get the job, it's their loss as someone else said. :)

Em-z - welcome to the thread, and good luck with getting back on track.

Have a good day everyone, it's nearly the weekend! :j

thank you beanie and loislane :) I'm of to look up the HB braised steak

feeling a little positive today but it is a flexi-syn day due to having attend an event.

Breakfast: 2 weetabix (heb) with milk (from hea) and strawberries
    mid morning: orange
lunch: BBQ at event. going to be behaved and eat the best that I can whilst there - hopefully there will be some salads!
tea: meatballs and pasta with garlic bread (3 syns for sauce, 2 for meatballs, 9 for garlic bread)

I don't mind flexi-synning today as we have no other plans over the weekend or in to next week

    ETA:

I have the recipe from the link on the first page :) sounds yummy - now to find the right cut of meat at a price I can do :)
