sorry to hear you didn't get the job Lantanna x something better will come along for you I'm sure :)

Forgot to mention yesterday's big event at work (second of our annual business conferences) was a mahoosive flop. I could have sat and cried in the afternoon due to it all. But I was good - I'd had 3 Cadbury heroes during the day and didn't go reaching for anything else!

Hoping to see at least a little movement this week!

In terms of the planner...mine looks like considerably less food than my consultants one so I'm going to look and see if she write s anything twice. atm if I have two salads in a day (lunch and tea) I generally write things once still so: lettuce, cucumber, tomato could actually cover 1/3rd or more of each of two meals...how do others do it?

I was thinking that about the SW food diaries last night. When I joined the class last week they didn't have any so I took my own food diary with me last night and used it to complete the SW form so I could hand one in. In my food diary I write what I've eaten for each meal and then highlight the speed foods, but some days I have the same speed food more than once, so when I transferred it over to the form it looked like I'd had less.

  • Hello all - sorry to hear people are having a hard time...((hugs)) to all - here's to better days.

(Thankfully I only get migraines about a couple of times a year...MrGFB suffers badly and - I think because he was obsessing about me having one took one himself later that day - and took a humdinger...any body else's man like this...I can't have anything on my own lol!!)

I ended up having pork medallions with HM coleslaw and green beans which I really enjoyed. I think I'm going to try something similar tonight...I find if I keep my carbs low at the end of the week it does me better for weigh in on Saturday.

    So....

B: two boiled eggs with some strawbs
L: JP with baked beans, salad and a little coleslaw (gonna syn 3 for that)
D: some kind of lean protein salad and green beans
HE a and b will be some ryvita with light philly and strawbs (our new fav treat!)

MrGFB is enjoying his footie...I've been going through box sets of stuff, just finished an epic watching of The Walking Dead and I'm just about to finish off Happy Valley...why did I not see this before!!

Also I've got delivered the third part of a trilogy (books) that I have been waiting YEARS for so I'm dead excited about that!! (Its called City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin...the first book was called The Passage and the second The Twelve....it's about vampires if anyone is interested lol!!)

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job Lantanna. There's a better one out there with you name on it!

Weighed in this morning and managed a small 0.5lb loss - still better than a gain! Had hoped it would be a lb to take me bang on target but at least I've still got 2.5lb to play with!

it gets worse today. Whilst out picking up work's things from an information point we had at another event some idiot has broken my rear light lens :( daren't even tell OH as he's already in a mood as something has marked his new replica England shirt so obviously that must have been me and I went to go get his prescription only to find I'd left my bag at work and couldn't pay...please let today be over and let me have a loss at group :(

Pay day next Friday so I'm going to have to buy a new rear light cover (sourced for £30 on eBay - cheapest by far) and get someone to fit it next weekend - unless my mum/dad kindly lends me the money to sort it out today/tomorrow...no idea how much fitting will be as bil1 who usually does my car stuff is in Zante atm !!!!!! I'm so done with this week!

    Hi everyone
Can I join the next challenge? Think I'm a bit late with this one...

I've been at target for 2 years, but since coming back from hols in January, I can't seem to get to the lower end of my target. I've become really demotivated as a result, not going to WI each week, not weighing and measuring where I'm supposed to. I have STS for weeks now, not even losing a half pound. I would like to get 4 or 5lbs off, which doesn't seem like a lot but is proving impossible.

I'm finding it difficult because I do the old green days (I'm veggie) so they suit me better. My consultant isn't very supportive because of this.

Anyway, hello everyone! I've subscribed to this thread so wishing everyone luck!

em - welcome to the thread.

I've been at target for 5 years now and like you I've been struggling since I returned from my holiday in early January. I'm managing to stick to it most of the time and stay within target range but mainly near the top end, but was hoping to be at bottom end before my upcoming holiday. I am just 0.5lb above target and I'm off on holiday next Tuesday so no doubt pounds will pile on while I'm away but hoping to do some damage limitation on my return.

I think the answer is to try to vary your meals as much as possible. You might find it helps to post your plans each day, a bit like doing a food diary but without giving to your consultant.

It really isn't very helpful if your consultant isn't supportive just because you choose to do Green days as a veggie. There are few people who do Green days on here, myself included. You'll get the much needed support from everyone on here. I'm not veggie but choose to have Green days from time to time - usually so that I can have some cheese as I always use my HEA as milk as I drink gallons of tea!

    Good luck.

Thanks Denise, much appreciated. Well done on 5 yrs at target! I'm 1lb within the target range, but at the top end too. Got my holiday in 3 weeks but no motivation. It sounds like people on this thread area helpful bunch though, so fingers crossed.
