Good morning everyone,
Thanks for the chart Shala STS please this week.
Have a lovely holiday Maman, I expect it will be hot in Turkey, so exactly the same as here then.:D
I feel quite envious of all those lovely diaries - hope they motivate, do they have some nice recipes within?
Have a good week everyone.

Morning all, hope everyone is well?
-1.75 for me please Shala and hope you are feeling better?
Finally a loss :j. With just a stone to go it's getting harder!0 -
I love Turkey Maman and the Turkish foods , where abouts are you going?
Interview was difficult enough, should no by the end of the week.
Have a bad dose of gastritis, last time I had it was when I was recovering after my op, so not at all pleased to see it back but anyway struggle on.0 -
Morning all
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Musogirl for SOTW. :T
Temporary position accepted.
Sorry to hear you were poorly, but it sounds like you've got your mojo back and you're on track again.+1lb today not sure why. Was really good last week - wrote everything down in my shiny diary. Struggled to get my HexB choice for half the week and if I'm going with the 10 syn per day rule I was over for the week (I'm less than 10st). Don't want it to sound like an excuse but I also wore jeans and a heavy weighted t-shirt so that might be 1/2lb :rotfl:
Jeans are surprisingly heavy - try weighing them on your kitchen scales, they can account for 2lbs on their own, so with a heavy t-shirt as well you may have had a loss in lighter clothes. .
Years ago when I was at class a target member turned up wearing jeans and her weight must have gone above the upper target limit so she promptly took her jeans off and weighed again! :rotfl:I feel quite envious of all those lovely diaries - hope they motivate, do they have some nice recipes within?
No doubt they'll be appearing on eBay anytime soon. Alternatives are also available on eBay and stationery shops - I use a doodle diary from The Works, but when I looked last week they didn't have any.
Have a great time in Turkey Maman. I had a lovely holiday there back in the 90s and really enjoyed the food, but if my memory serves me it was very meat based - I don't remember a lot of vegetables or salads, however that was pre-SW days so it wouldn't have been as important to me then.
Have a good day everyone.

p.s. I've now had a text message from the new consultant as well as the welcome card that arrived at the weekend. She has surpassed the previous consultant already and I've only been once!Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Congratulations Musogirl on being our SOTW.
Mrsp - as LL says jeans are really heavy. I always try to wear the same trousers every week which are fairly lightweight. It's difficult to measure weight loss if you're not wearing similar weight clothes every week. When you come back from your holiday try and sort out a pair of trousers and a top to wear every week so that you can see the real weight loss. Enjoy your holiday! As my consultant always says whenever people are going away "be good when you can and be careful when you can't". It's a good adage.
LL - your new consultant sounds really good. Have to say my consultant isn't too good with sending out texts - think I've probably only had 2 and that was in the first few months after I started! However, she is fairly active on our Facebook page and contactable whenever you need her.
Cor, this is getting a bit of an essay so better get on with my menu plan for today:
B - porridge with quark & honey (HEB + 2)
L - LO macaroni cheese
D - beef stirfry
HEA - milk as usual.
Syns - honey 2; not sure what else but do still have chocolate left!

morning all! nothing exciting here but should pick up my bronze body magic award on Thursday

Breakfast: heb (2 benefit light bars) tea (milk from hea)
mid morning: strawberries, melon and pineapple with quark
lunch: need to go and try and exchange some shoes I got online at the local branch as they are too big (even though my usual size) and put some money in my bank so plenty of body magic! then will pick up a jacket potato with beans and a side salad on my way back to the office otherwise it will just be a cupshotz (free - didn't eat it yesterday) with my orange wedges
tea: I think beef quick fry steak with rice or a couple of rosti (ikea - 3 syns for 2 which is a 120g portion) and veg
didn't realise just how tight money was until my bank sent me a reminder that I pretty much only have enough for my phone bill and maybe a little petrol if I really need it next week although to be fair I shouldn't need it...luckily group is paid for
After next pay day I am going to call at ikea sometime and get some more rosti as I really like then and they are filling for 3 syns************************************

Morning all - I thought I posted yesterday but must have only done it in my mind...filling in my pretty diary (I also got a special pen to write in it lol - it's pretty and purple)
Today didn't start out great as I took a migraine in work (I can see now = that's why I'm on my computer...aura is gone but just left the headache ugh)
Food yesterday:
B: 0 % greek yog and a fruit salad
L: chicken salad with a sprinkle of cheese (HEa) and a little coleslaw (i counted 3 syns)
salmon with roasted red pepper sauce, green veggies and jersey royals (yum!)
No HEb but I literally couldn't think what to have as didn't want to use syns for butter or anything and I had used my HEb...ah well - I'm sure the SW police won't lock me up for that.
Today - going for a SP day...
B: SW fry...3 bacon medallions, 2 eggs, tomato, mushroom and beans
L: ham and cheese salad sandwich with loads of veggies and speed tomato soup
big plate of veggies and thinking butterflied chicken breast with piri piri spices
HE a and b in the sandwich which is 2 slices from a large loaf to make up 2 HEb's0 -
Quick question - if you've got a countdown, do you just go straight to weigh in at class?
It was all different when I used to go to class, everyone's weight record was written on a file card, so even if you had a countdown you still had to check in first so you'd have your card.

You still need to check in at the "pay" bit as your card needs to be registered; then to get weighed; so really everything is exactly the same as usual just that you don't pay weekly.
Denise0 -
Yes you don't get to skip anything, you get told how long you have left as it needs to register.
Didn't see the point of the diary, I wouldn't write in it.0
