Just a quick post with my plan for today:

B - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans
    L - tuna mayo salad sandwich (HEB + 1/2)
D - lamb rump, roast potatoes, roast onions, roast peppers, green beans, sugar free mint sauce

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

DH bought me some dark chocolate last night so will probably have some this evening to use up some syns.

It's probably a bit late to say this, but the voucher in the Mirror last week also gave free access to SW online.

P.s. I didn't realise hay fever tablets cause headaches, I've been suffering this week but I thought it couldn't be hay fever as my head feels like it's full of cotton wool, now I realise it could be the tablets.

Looking in the booklet from the Mirror it gives you £35 off online membership, same deal that I got from Reveal mag. I only remembered to buy the Saturday Mirror though, the Sunday one may have been different.

Hayfever tablets are only supposed to cause headaches and dizziness in something like 1 in 1000 people, so we must be in the minority :) I think I'll visit a chemist next week and see if they can recommend anything that won't make me feel worse. I've got a feeling the tablets I've been trying might be reacting with my asthma medication. I've not taken a tablet for a couple of days now and I'm back to being loaded with cold

Yesterday I didn't eat an awful lot. I slept until midday (as I took a tablet Friday night and it had me feeling woozy again), had some marmite on toast for a late breakfast, then a Wetherspoons lunch - chicken burger with salad (looked it up on the app this morning and its 22 syns ) little NSV for me I think not ordering chips, proud of myself :D Was having a rare afternoon out with my mum though and we had a good catch up so it was worth it

    Today's food:

B - HEB toast with banana & honey, latte with HEA milk
L - pasta bolognaise with salad
T - SW grill up - scrambled egg, bacon, beans, grilled toms

Bit low on speed today so I'll have to do some strategic snacking between meals

    I Am Exhausted
Had to make emergency visit to Loughborough to sort the boys car (long story). Left Norwich about 10pm finally got home 4.30am. Drove home in daylight, don't think I've ever been out at that time before as I'm a home body and hardly ever did night clubbing :p. went to bed but up before 10am to walk dog.
Totally dehydrated too! Slept on and off most of day and today still feeling it :(.
Son is enjoying Download or Drownload as they're calling it (due to rain) feel sorry for the campers as flooded out! Glad he's hotelling  He wore wellies first day and the rain ran down his poncho and filled his boots :rotfl:. Today is the headliner act Iron Maiden, he watched Edforce One land yesterday so is stoked and really looking forward to seeing them today. Saw Black Sabbath yesterday too so having a great time even with the rain.

Anyway! WI with 1lb loss that'll do I suppose, better than a gain :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Today's EE plan...

Breakfast - Smoothie. I very rarely have these but really fancied it today. Used half my A and B (flax) and 2 syns, 6 if you count the fruit. I would have eaten the amount I put in anyway so on the fence whether it counts.
Lunch - Leftover salad. Had people round yesterday and over catered, so using this up! No dressing, all speedy.
Dinner - BBQ chicken (homemade sauce, free) with sweet potato and roasted veggies.

june - I know SW say you should syn fruit when not eaten whole but I always think that as long as you don't use any more than you would have eaten anyway why syn it - but that's easy for me to say being at target:D.

That's the logic I take too. I know their reasoning but I have no satiation difference between whole and pureed fruit. Same nutrition, same calories. I get no extra satisfaction from chewing things. :rotfl:

I think I might feel differently if I was doing it every day but I think I've had two smoothies in six months. So it's not really going to have any long term impact on anything.

I think there is an issue about fibre as well as the amount of fruit consumed. So your body has to work harder to digest the whole fruit and so uses calories. I believe that's the reasoning but you're right now and again won't make a lot of difference.

Still using up stuff so not having our usual roast today.:( I've used a bit of Parmesan but I think most can be written off as part of HEA.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB bread, kippers, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with spread (2?), lentil and veg soup
D: gammon, mash with spring onions, tomato, mushrooms, cabbage
Syns: spread, weekend wine (that's one thing I don't mind using up):D.
