    Morning!

I have laundry piling up (had bedding to wash, poor DS :() but my dad is on his way and we are going to finish pressure washing the back, so no laundry out for me today.

We had proper big flakes of snow last night too

House in reasonable shape, did upstairs bathrooms last night while kiddies got dunked, and we are all washed up, given up on the DW now...

So, outdoor cleaning for me today!

I *think* I have a leaving date. If "let's work to your preferred exit plan" is, in essence, an agreement??? Given the inertia, I can't see any other proposals being brought up so that said, I have four weeks left! Or 11 days :D of which a few will be at home.

I may even do some baking for the team between now and then, as a farewell treat.

Hope everyone has a productive day.

And CY I'm aghast at that so called friend! How dare she tell others not to call you. Sending the karma bus to kick her on the !!!. XXX

I'm waiting on 3on to sort their website out. I got my estimated bill yesterday after them telling me that someone was coming to read the meter and its out by 100 units and over £120 debit which is the highest I've ever had  Considering between yesterday and today I've only used 6 units electric and 2 gas I am not a happy person right now. This afternoon I'll have to set aside an hour or so to update household finances and see if I can afford to up the payment a little bit. I don't want to have too much credit on the account, but at the same time I want to control the amount I'm paying out to them before they decide to up it again to a level I can't afford to pay.

    Morning nicki,

This is something we are really working hard on, I completely agree it's so frustrating when you think a meter reader is coming, then you get an estimated bill :( so I'm really sorry.

The best thing to do, is to enter your own reads once a month (if you have time) you can either produce a real time bill to those reads, or produce a real time balance, this means it won't actually bill the account but you'll be able to see if the account would be left in a credit/debit. So you'd know where you stand.

Also, you can have a look on the Direct Debit manager tool via your online account and you can change your payments by up to 20% when the account is billed to some accurate reads. This is pretty handy actually.

Or if you're stuck with anything, please just ask me, I'm here to help as much as I can and it's no problem at all :)

The website is back up and running now.

    Thank you

OK. The 5 miles is not happening. It's sleeting/trying to snow, and is absolutely freezing. DH has just finished conference call and breadmaker has bleeped, so we are going to play a round of Zombicide as we haven't actually spent any time together all week with me out in the mornings and him getting in at 2300 ish.

Dog walked, lunch prepped, finances updated and filing done in lieu of run:D

Watch out for fluffy mules, everyone - pigpen's on a roll!
Glad (you think) you've got a leaving date, bossy.
Enjoy your temporary zombification, FBO, but please come back to us as your normal self :p

DH's steam loco driving was cancelled today because the engine is poorly - he is not a happy bunny :(

I have been busy this morning doing 4 loads of washing, cleaning the fridge, and doing all sorts of other odd jobs. Still to be done:
    - seed lawn
    - replace water butt tap
    - clean house top to bottom (everything is tidy)
    - more banking stuff
    - online check in
    - pack

I found that the last of the big bottle of milk has gorn orf _pale_ but fortunately I know have a little packet in the cupboard, so I can still have my :coffee:

Off into the garden before lunch - catch up later x

Work outside this morning done. Wash load on the maiden by the radiators as I've put the heating on for a bit while I dry out, beds made and tidying up throughout done. I think I'm going to join Pigpen in making sausage casserole for tea with mash, a nice hot meal for the first time this week :o

Now I'm settling down for a few hours of paperwork. Tonights weather forecast is getting worse, I am not looking forward to going out to hopefully collect the remaining 45 books I should have in today. :(
