Washing is dry, labels unpicked and those items of uniform are back in the wash after I turned my back for 5 minutes to go the toilet and came down to Zack laying all over them and licking his paws so now the clothes are icky. I'm guessing he wasn't happy at me being so pre-occupied with them :rotfl: Labels stitched into 2 new pairs of trousers, I just need to know if DD needs belt loops on them or not. Now I'm on to the 2 remaining mop heads, then its belt loops on my jeans, a couple of pillow cases and a monkey to repair. DD is at club so I'm thinking I'll have cottage pie for tea. I have a microwave meal version in the freezer
I've even made plans for some me time next week with my old school friends again
Hopefully this time we'll all be able to make it :rotfl:

Thankfully my hay fever is 90% better than it used to be, since we've been buying our honey at the farmers market. The beekeeper is a very pleasant German gentleman, and I'm certain that having honey produced by local bees has made a real difference.:o
Bu88er all Flying again today; been into town and self-propelled the wheelchair to S/Drug and the F&V market while Mr LW was getting his hair cut. The physical effort of doing this with my gippy shoulder, and the sc-sc-scariness of speaking to the girl in S/Drug and the chap on the market stall have pretty much finished me off for the day.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Belated good afternoon to you all....
Somewhat late into thread bit yesterday was a disaster. Waited in all morning for comm nurse who couldn't do what was needed, so I ended up at the hospital. Came home via the GP to discover my prescription wasn't ready. Had to.wait and then staggered to the chemists and then home...
So today I had the chance to go to my book.group. I had a fantastic time and it was lovely to see them, especially since last month there was a falling out between two members, one of whom has decided to leave. She is someone who I thought of as a friend, but she doesn't do 'horrid stuff' and I haven't heard from her in over 3 months. And apparently she told other members not to ring me...
I am thoroughly worn out, but with a great smile on my face...
Tomorrow is another hospital appointment. Looking forward to a few hours on my own on Thursday..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Well Squeak had a meltdown and no dinner... Dot had a drama over dinner then ate it anyway.. Pixie had seconds!
DD1 has had a FB messenger drama with CF.. Apparently she is lying about everything he ever did.. strangling her, breaking her stuff, calling her disgusting names.. I said just let it go.. regardless of what you do with $h!t it will never smell of roses.. If he wants to lie to himself and everyone else it doesnt matter because the truth will out, and if it doesnt he has lost all hope of any relationship with any of the children.. thats not my doing. Apparently I had letters I never gave them.. so she said do you mean this letter and sent him a photo of it proving him wrong.. pmsl.. I didn't bin or hide anything.. DS1 said to shove the letter where the sun doesn't shine... DD2 shrugged and said oh and walked away.. DS2 didnt know what to say when on the spot so said he didnt have it, DS3 was away so it was irrelevant and DD3 didnt acknowledge it either. See.. even when I do nothing I do everything wrong .. good job I'm used to it!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all,
Dailies done, dog walked, paid stuff attended, kitchen cupboards and appliances wiped, coffee had with two friends who are having a hard time. My small problem of building site type house seems very insignificant.
CY, glad you enjoyed the book group despite "friend" issue.
Piggers, we've said it before but he really is a piece of work.
LW gws vibes coming your way. OH has been struck down with some chesty cough cold type thing, it has knocked him for six because he is so run down from working so hard for the last few weeks. I'm on Limsep duty.
Right, off to do Internet food shop, as it is very pressing ie food nearly gone.0 -

Got to the hairdressers to find a note on the door, closed all day as she was ill, so rescheduled for next week.
Glad you had a lovely time at the book group CY, sounds like the 'friend' wasn't really.
Pigpen hugs to your DD, he really is a piece of work isn't he. If she can ignore him it would be best for her like you said its him with the problem and he's lying to himself.
Hope you feel better soon LW.
Security light replaced, everyone fed, photo cupboard sort and tidied. Loads of mounts and old tatty albums bin dd, photos look much better now.
Plan to sort a nice selection out for dd1 as its her 30th this year so want to make her an album up.
Going to have a cuppa and read a few pages now.
